TS Cash leagues.

Hello Supercoaches and Dreamteams.

I hear to gauge interest in the Official TooSerious Fantasy League.

Currently, we are planning on running Three Supercoach Leagues and One Dreamteam League.

But I guess that all depends on the interest we receive.

I believe that the cost of entry into each league will be different (Pending on what level of interest we get on each cost bracket.)

So share your interest by leaving a comment or send me an email to the following- too.serious.team.management AT gmail DOT com.

So far the planned price brackets would be $5, $20 or $50. So place your vote!.

The payout structure is pencilled in as follows (Though suggestions to improve it will be noted.)

1st place in overall score (50%)
2nd place in overall score (25%)
3rd place in overall score (18.75%)
Grandfinal Winner (6.25%) – Essentially your money back and a free TS subscription for next year.

Essentially, we want to reward a good overall score to get the TS name into the top 20!

Unlike most cash leagues that reward a strategy that is counter-conducive to getting a great ranking.

So yeah, get in fast because we can only run so many of these things…

Sounds good. Let me know when your comps running and please email me. $50 sounds good for entry so only the ones looking at the big prize in supercoach will join the league and this should see the league very close to the top. Cheers, Gavin.

I’m in, as I only have one league left, I’ll think I’ll have to take the $50 one.

  4. virginia miller says:

Yeah I’m in to, the 50 would be fine

I’d like to be in one of the sc leagues, $50 is fine for me, cheers

Would vote for $50 league but will not be entering.

I think it’s a bit rough that the overall winner of the league gets only 6.25%.
If you win the flag you should get the most, it defeats the purpose of having a league in the first place.

Not really, it just rewards a different skill. Playing in a league, where your aim is to make the finals, the win the grand- requires a completely different strategy to creating a team that is aiming for a highest-overall score.

And in most times, it’s better to have a worse “overall” score if it means you can have a better team come round 22.

Most of the people in this league however, are also having a solid crack at the 50k. And if they just fall short, well hey, they’ve also got a decent crack at taking this thing out.

That said, I should probably post up the official Payout structure. (I’ll write a new post in the not too distant future.)

    Highest overall score – $650
    2nd highest overall score – $100
    Grand final winner – $50
