  1. Hutchy says:

@ blizzrd – Unless Byrnes’ form drops, i don’t think Stokes will get back in, even if he is “available” for selection!

  2. Ben says:

Is there a source to these Ladson rumours?

  3. mark1 says:

some talk on hawks board at BF Ben

  4. drizzt says:

any reason why i should not take Buddy into my team?????

  5. Laurel Kula says:

Since there are so many blogs with different points of view, they challenge your perception. It is at these occasions when you have exceptional insignt the rest might not have had, including the blogger him/herself.

  6. alex says:

hopefully one of Ladson and Goodwin plays, I already decided Hurn out for 2 weeks was not even close to being worth a trade, so only have silvagni as cover on the bench (had to put goose on the field)

  7. Tonche says:

    Fair call on Hurn, Alex.

Let’s hope they both get a guernsey.

  8. Rob85 says:

Hi All, I’ve got a quick question on a trade.

I have Tippet and Grey in my foward line. Got cover in Hitchcock and Gumbleton.

Is it worth doing to trades. Grey > Murphy – Tippet > Brown?

Or just trading out tippet to murphy or brown?

Or just sit on what I have?

  9. Benji says:

Where’s Knighty’s Tips this week? Don’t tell me he is married like buster gonad’s and cbf doing them this week.lol

  10. jim says:

Personally I would trade Tippett for Brown if you can. I was worried about the Tippett injury rumours and he just hasnt looked good yet, and was worried if Brown continues with this form I’d never get him. I’m holding on to Gray, hopefully he’s back next week.
    Just my opinion.

  11. Benji says:

Has anyone seen the breakeven and salary prediction difference in hille and seaby? Hille may go down this week where as seaby is gonna go up heaps and when the premiums hit rock bottum in may only be in a few weeks and seaby may even rise above the price of some of these fallen premiums. I was gonna do NO TRADES but considering this in both SC and DT i mean it is 1 trade and will be kicking myself when seaby sky rockets and hille does his acl or goes down in value. Please try to talk me out of this ASAP coz i am doing my head in.

  12. spud says:

A post made by someone on the forums has led to some to interpret that ladson might msis this week. On second read, i think it has been misinterrpreted and he apparantly trained well with the main group today. The post in question was referring to ozzy+scarlett rather than mooney+ladson i think.

  13. Benji says:

Well too late there goes hille -> seaby in both SC and DT hope he can keep it up as on paper it proble doesn’t meet the trading rules requirements but everybody else is trading so see it as still being 1 trade up on everybody and besides i am in top 200 in DT and top 400 in SC so cant complain as yet. Good luck this week. Will be hoping hille does his acl and that seaby destroys richmonds non rucks. And i just did my acl at training tuesday so that is fairly rough on hille but sorry buddy now that my footy is over sc and dt are my football priority.

  14. Ben says:

Riewoldt gone with a hammy, sounds serious.

  15. DC says:

Can’t belive i swapped back to roo from rok for (c) duties this week.. hahah got to love this game.

  16. BuzzBoy says:

Walesy, Tell me you didn’t trade in Roo this week?

  17. Steve says:

Any decent coach would already have Riewoldt in their team. So I guess it will depend on what strategy you are going to use. Do you trade him out and then back in later during the year? Or do you have faith in your bench players to cover him? Personally if he is out for anywhere up to 4 games, you would hold onto him. Depends on what you want to achieve – overall ranking or league premiership.

  18. DC says:

Potential for 8 weeks for Roo. :(

Scores this week will be interesting.

  19. Steve says:

Sorry no offence Walesy, you are the one exception to my point about not having Riewoldt in your team.

  20. chugguar says:

OUCH!! My bad start gets worse with Captain Roo broken. I traded Warren for Peterson and then Tippet for J.Brown. I did it with 2 minutes to go. I regretted it as soon as i did it, ahh. Should have kept some faith in warren to improve a bit. Tippet i am sure will now score 144 each week and make me feel like a fool. Going to be a low score this week.

  21. Jeremy says:

I side traded from goodes to reiwoldt… Never. Ever again.

  22. Tom says:

So glad I moved from Ablett to Riewoldt as captain. So glad.

If it’s 8 weeks, replacement options? Goodes? Byrnes? Most would by now already have Brown and ROK in their lineup.

  23. chugguar says:

oh and @ Joshy C ( I Think) my avatar was set up to work on the dt talk website. Cant remeber the name of the site and their site is down so look on there when it is back up.

  24. Ben says:

Trust Collingwood to turn what should have been a decent spectacle into a pile of crap.

  25. DC says:

Talk of season ending injury for Roo. Fears hammy torn of bone. Just speculation though

  26. Ben says:

If it is season ending at least he’ll be underpriced next season.

  27. Jase says:

just heard on the radio that roo will be out for a long time

  28. Tom says:

Ham off the bone is expensive. This could cost St Kilda a GF berth. The only upside for SCers is that almost 50% of people had Roo in their teams last round, many more would have jumped on today too.

  29. DC says:

I’m even more pissed that jumped off ROC for (C) this week. Could off offset somewhat. ahh well..

  30. Jase says:

it could of happened to ROK for all we know, just abit unlucky haha

  31. chugguar says:

anyone else having trouble with the SC scores in the live scoring??

  32. Ben says:

    Fisher now gone.
Hopefully many people jumped on Riewoldt for captain and Ablett now pulls off a 200.

  33. DC says:

Roo had 14 at half time.

… so $590,464 to play with next week.

  34. Jase says:

a quote from HS live scoring: “Just to repeat: Nick Riewoldt has badly torn is hamstring and could miss 3 months. Sam Fisher concussion and taken off on stretcher”

  35. Jase says:

@ben, i hope ablett does as you say :P i have him as Captain

  36. scott says:

for a straight swap Riewolt to Rok, Rok will need to score 97 or less by my calculations
for those that don’t already have him

  37. JJ says:

tv commentators were saying he might have done it b/c he had hurt his ankle so was changing his running movement (was off earlier in the quarter and was limping when he came on). Also he had been taken out off the ball and was woozy getting back up. he’s body’s badly beat up :(

  38. simmo says:

hmm roo up to 24 at 3/4 time, not bad extra 10 for layin on the stretcher for a qrt

  39. Ben says:

Arsehole Malthouse playing Pendlebury across half forward thus destroying his score
