A stand-alone slot has been left open on the Saturday (18 April) of Round 5 for the AFLW grand final. Both the Blues-Power and Suns-Demons games will start at 1.10pm (AEST), before the Bulldogs-Lions and Swans-Giants matches commence at 7.25pm. It means the AFLW grand final will likely be played in the (435pm??) twilight timeslot between the two pairs of AFL games.

We will add this player to the TS AFLW database, however they will not be available in the keeper league pre-season draft as this was announced after it was commenced. They will be eligible to be picked up pre AFLW Round 1 in the supplementary draft.

Positional eligibility will be determined and they will be available for the annual draft league before it kicks off.
    - edit - it seems fairly clear that she is a Key Forward so Fwd only it is.

What is the reasoning for these players being unavailable to draft in the keeper league?

I think it’s too late to change it now anyway, but I wish we’d discussed it pre-draft because I feel it would’ve been better for them to be available to draft.

It makes next years drafter deeper, and we can better gauge the inactive players list impact. It is a one-off for our first year.
