Thanks Len and gravenger. In four of the six matches that votes have been posted the team that lost had more players in the votes than the winning team, including Nunawading who lost to Lovely Banks by 305 points which highlighted theconsistent team effort delivered by the Lilacs.

Nice work Dean, albeit there is a delicious touch of irony here - Walesy creates a programme to harvest the SC scores and automatically generate a ladder, we then manually report the scores to keep track of a medal named to show our respect for Walesy.

OPhas been updated to now include Les W. Medal votes for all nine opening round matches. As mentioned by Len in another thread Walesy sent me an email with exported Round 1 scores which enabled me to determine the votes for the remaining two matches. There were three tie-breakers in round 1. One for opposing players and two for team-mates. For opposing players the one from the winning team wins the tie-breaker. For team-mates ulimately the coach of those players gets to decide who wins the tie-breaker,but so that the posting of votes is not delayed the provisional tie-breaker is the highest average in the current season. ForRound1this has reverted back to the players 2013 averages. The ORFFA coach of theteam-matesinvolved in thetie-breaker has the powerto override the provisionalresult of the tie-breaker by implementing ‘coaches' choice' and selecting that the player with the lower averagewins the tie-breaker.In most instances thecoach will stick with the provisional result and make itthe official result however I think the ORFFA coach deserves to have their say on which player from their club wins the tie-breaker.

The bald headed master has a $7m bonus tied to his Les W Medal performance so I am tempted to choose Breust, but if I did I know the little master would tank a few games just to show me who is boss. Ablett 4 Breust 3

Each round I will post the leaderboard with at least the top 25 (depends how many players are equal with 25th), it worked nicely for Round 2 as 25 players have received at least five votes. During the mid-season break I will post each club's leaderboard showing all their vote-getters during the first seven rounds. For Round 2there were three tie-breakers involving team-mates, how long do you think coaches should have to make a 'coaches' call'? At the moment I'm thinking until Thursday or Friday night but I am happy to go with the majority.

I'm happy to give the vote to Jaensch. Didn't think Libba's game was that great to be honest. While I expect him to poll higher over the course of the year (meaning he might need the vote), but we don't play for individual awards down at The Coup. Jaensch wins because his role for the team was more valuable.

Nice decision CR. ... Hey, I think there must be something wrong with that leaderboard - there's no Cockatoos on there at all! ... regarding coaches choice, Im happy with whatever deadline you want to set DMA.

I have updated the Round 2 votes post to make the provisional tie-breaker results official but had problems with the formatting of this update. Coaches can have until Thursday 10pm AEST to implement 'coaches' choice whena tiebreaker involves their players. Anthony, a few teams didn't have playerson the Round 2leaderboard. Round 3 (AFL round 3);4/4/ - 6/4.Muso Round. Each team can nominate the Australian (or Kiwi) muso or group they groove to and that inspires them; and hopefully have them perform for pre-match or half time entertainment.
