With 1 month to go now until the season proper begins, your ORFFA Match Committee can now announce the 2014 ORFFA FIXture :) Once again, all teams have either 8 or 9 home games. The teams that had 9 last year get 8 this year and those with 8 last year have 9 this year. Unlike the first two seasons though, the individual matchups have not necessarily alternated home and away though; ie, if you played someone at home last year, you may host them at home again this season. An aspect the same as last season, but unlike the first, is that you may find you have stretches of either multiple home games or away games in a row, rather than home and away alternating each week. First named team is the home team. Round 1 (AFL round 1);14/3 - 23/3.Fantasy Footballers Anonymous Fortnight. Placed in round 1 at the end of the most intense period in a fantasists year. Raising awareness for the plight of those people (and their loved ones) who suffer from the rapidly emerging fantasy football addiction. Our version of the Gambler's Anonymous cards on the back of the toilet door at a Casino!

Playing the first two rounds away from The Paddock at Darraweit will allow the ground to recover from the recent dry weather and surrounding fires. Thanks to the fixturing committee for taking this into account.

Nice piece of work Committee. Re. R2, perhaps it should be noted that there has been a Xenomorph sighting and apparently he did not end up on a Chinese submarine. But good to have an X/Harold round anyway.

I understand there were a few Harold H sightings as well TiB. Apparently some with Lord Lucan.

Nice work Ant and Committee. As a Rotarian I particularly like the idea of a Fellowship round. I hope Darreweit Guim Oval has survived the recent bush fires in good order.

If you guys want to upload your fixture into TS, then I will be able to generate your ladders and stuff. :) You upload it at the bottom of the Admin page. You need a comma-delimited file that goes something like this. 2014,1,MBD,SAR 2014,1,MIL,MAR And so on, and so forth, skipping rounds 8,9 and 10 cause they are the bye rounds. :)

Good stuff, but I don't think walesy is surrounded by dollar bills (and the size of that pic would probably drive Hornsy into trauma).

yes chief I am trying to email you the comma delimited fixture list. I can post it here if you like and then you can delete or you can advise a useable email addy. Or I could email it to TIB as he has admin access and you could describe to him what needs to be done. OTY.
BTW, it is 153 lines long (9 fixtures*17 weeks).
