  Would have been an even bigger crowd on the Friday night if the AFL had let us unfurl the premiership flag at a Bulldogs home game.

  I belive the bombers travel to the Gabba to play Brisbane in rnd 2.
  Play Carlton rnd 3, Geelong Rnd 4 and the normal ANZAC day clash in round 5.

  I read on facebook that the Hawks and Cats will be playing in Launceston, I think in past seasons the preseason fixture has been released on the day after the regular season fixture release, sot it shouldn't be far away.

  Both clubs will have their bye in round 9 which is not one of the multibye rounds.
  
  Potentially this could mean a best 18 round in round 9 and an "easier" multibye round as well.
  
  Perhaps their could be a lot of coaches that plan to bring in a few SC relevant Port Adelaide and Gold Coast players after their bye rather than starting them.

  Can somebody make sure that the ground staff don't cover the surface with a layer of sand this time? Something to do with a cricket final played at the ground in 2014 that led to this:

  Just depends on if there are GCS and Port rookies in the mix come round 1 - would be ripe for culling come round 9 if they can get the first 8 games in
