I'm as bored as hell at work, so thought I would start a new thread for banter / sledging, worrying about @snoz for living in Trump land, and what that might do to the visa restrictions on his playing roster.

I must admit it seems @That KI Guy has sent the cup straight to the pool room and has started the rebuild, with ChiefBet jumping on to the scraps like a seagull onto a hot chip

I have finally started what I should have started two seasons ago... a proper rebuild for the Spelunkers. My defence is going to be mid 60-70s shite for this year, but hoping the like of Thurlow, Bonner, and McDonald can continue to improve.

Midfield has seen some of the old guard depart... and now I have Blitz as a straight up midfielder, which may pay dividends or go through me like a dodgy vindaloo.

My draft strategy is coming together, and I have my Top 22 draft targets in priority order... which will all go to shit when the prospectus and pre-season coms start, but as I said, I have been bored!

My money on the Cobalt King or The Fuglies this year for the trophy... If I make top 8 I have totally stuffed the rebuild,

To the rest of you... I hope that you have a year full of selection headaches, last minute squad changes and general soreness!

Hahahahaha - yeh, kinda of an interesting place over here at the moment. Luckily for me my town is a dedicated 'Safe Haven' for foreigners.......of course that means that I probably cant leave my town for fear of being deported. Pre Season has been radically affected with the Hoppers coachless in Gundagai but I've been face timing them in btwn beers so all is good. Some think that the Hoppers are better of without their esteemed useless coach in attendance.

Rumour has it you are looking at mexican recruits @snoz as it is only a matter of time before they get refugee status and a 30% discount from champion data!

Fellow coaches, is there any interest in the State of Origin again this season during the bye rounds?

If so, I'm happy to co-ordinate it.

Again, if so, any suggested amendments to the format etc?

Poor Bandit, barely a nibble on his thread.

Can understand his despondency at his work place.

    Bandit's work timeline:
0530 - clock on and plunge into the bowels of worksite
0600 - lick cave clean with tongue
1000 - undertake barely entertaining cave tour for three uninspired and largely indifferent French tourists
1200 - lunch: consisting of left over mummified ghost bat and side serving of lampenflora
1206 - harvest swiftlet nests while clinging perilously from outer cave cliff face
1400 - clean swiftlet nests with tongue
1500 - dress gaping wounds, received by oppressive boss unhappy with nest cleanliness
1530 - try to cheer one-self by typing self-deprecating and back-handedly disparaging forum post to fellow ORFFA coaches
1550 - check back and find no one has replied, weep uncontrollably in corner
1630 - find tissues, dry eyes, close cave tours for rest of day in order to mourn
1745 - try to cheer one-self by checking ORFFA honour board and reminiscing about former glories.
    1746 - continue uncontrollable weeping
1947 - fall asleep cowering under desk at work humming "Road to Nowhere"
0500 - awaken to "I Got You Babe" on clock radio...

I accept that NZ is well behind in almost everything. Still got a chuckle seeing Freddie Flintoff having an iced tea in the Marble Bar of the Iron Clad Hotel. Not sure which of the group was Len, but suspect he delivered the line that sounded like "It's even too hot for the flies, mate."

Anyways, I just wanted to give some background so you guys would understand if I were to refer to our revered Commish as "Iced Tea."

So, Iced Tea, I take it when you and Jelly Guy got together you made what is colloquially known as an unruly mess? :poop:
