In what has been the hardest week to gain selection into the boozers team, we have almost an entire squad playing, with 10 reserves to choose from. Mitch Wallis makes his debut in what will be a tough matchup to determine second place on the ladder with the Virgins @YAD69 already taking a solid lead with polec and gray vs a disappointing ryder Def: C Sutcliffe, M Suckling, M Hurley, S Frost (H Crozier) Mid: D Zaharakis, T Mitchell, B Goddard, J Watson (W Brodie) Ruck: P Ryder Fwd: L Franklin, J Cameron, J Billings, M Wallis (B Matera) Int: J Elliott, O Fantasia (J Trengove)

Dialling in from Vietnam after missing tonight's SC lockout then realising I had better check my ORFFF team When setting the 29ers team on Tuesday or Wednesday I accidentally set 2 mid emergencies(Sheed and Newness) after intending to put Sheed at Mid Emg and Newnes at IC Emg to cover Barlow. As this is my mistake I am happy for this to be rectified however the board @Bearfly sees fit, whether that means dropping Sheed as 2nd named, moving Sheed to IC Emg, moving Newnes as intended, or dropping Newnes and not moving him, or taking the lower of the 2 scores if called upon. Whichever way it goes we hope to provide the Whales @Darran with a fierce rivalry round contest, as this is the very definition of a must win game for us heading into the midseason break.
Surely such a violation warrants a very, very harsh penalty designed to favour the whales . Seriously though I am happy with any of the three options proposed by TTH and given the extenuating circumstances (ie being in Vietnam) have no problem if someone is able to change the team to the intended submission (ie Newnes from Mid bench to I/C bench). Recognising that I am actually playing in the game impacted I will defer to @Bearfly and @Dale Duivesteyn for a final ruling. Currently scores are 29ers 5/392 (78.4) & the whales 4/339 (84.75) with Sam Reid's 13 being the only weak link so far in an otherwise strong 29ers team.
The Virgin's are on 699/9 77.7 to the Boozers 978/12 81.6 The Virgin's Neale & Mundy got hammered whilst the Boozers have been quite consistent so far. Still a close game, however the Boozers have got the upper hand at the moment.
I think I have the boozers on 1078/13. Going to be close as we only have elliott and Cameron to come while the Virgins have some bigger name players to come including priddis sidebottom Simpson and jjk
Pointers finding some rare air this week. Wedgies 940/10 @ 94 vs Noahs 726/10 @ 72.6 Large cracks starting to appear for the Neptunes with the continued loss of Gawn, Smith, Haynes and NRoo. Tyson and Prestia soooo disappointing this season. Hopefully Dusty settles at another club so the Meatball can get back into beast mode.
Matchup against the ladder leader proving to be difficult as advertised. Thought Hanley could beat Boak's pitiful 61 but only managed to get half of that! JJD 988/11 vs RGF 792/9
It looks like the Whales @Darran are wiping the floor with the 29ers based on live scoring, with the remaining interest from the 29ers being to see whether or not the result can be kept under our record losing margin and also whether our first MSD pick ends up as pick 5 or pick 6.
After Simpsons 104 the virgins move to 970/12. But all players scoring terrible in the late game although Kennedy starting to get some goals
The Virgin's 1,177/15 78.5 def'd by the Boozers 1,250/15 83.3 A big win for the Boozers after my Eagles got their wings clipped
Maralinga Atoms are starting to get a bit of momentum knocking up their 5th win out of their last 6 with a 374 point win over the Port Lincoln Power Atoms 1378/15 to Power 1005/15 Key performances by Burgoyne(144), Hibberd(114), Dusty(125), Gibbs(140) and Brad Crouch(110) proved too much for the Power who were let down by a number of players like Hartlett(42), B Hill(38) and Sam Gibson(52).
