    I'll sort of replicate what I've posted previously in the Guim's thread below:

    So - trade table:

    I'll be receptive to offers on the following:
    Alex Rance - D
    Marcus Adams - D
    possibly Darcy Byrne Jones - D
    possibly David Astbury - D
    possibly Brendan Goddard - D in 2019, or D/M if he plays on
    Jack Newnes - M in 2018, M/F in 2019
    possibly Will Hoskin Elliott - M in 2018, F in 2019
    Wylie Buzza R/F
    possibly Charlie Ballard - M/F rookie - deal would have to be very good though.
    My first round draft pick (around pick 8 or 9)
    My first round MSD pick

    I'm after a starting ruckman of quality. Handcuffed ruckmen will be considered. I'm also after a midfielder of quality.

    I will consider package deals. I will consider offers commensurate with the talent of those being traded in terms of their point scoring and where this places them in the percentiles of their position/s. And a trade involving a player from one position may see others taken from the trade table to preserve team balance.

    I will be approaching teams as well, so there might be players asked after that are involved in negotiations with other coaches/trades. But either way, while work remains madly busy I will endeavour to respond to messages swiftly.

    Currently holding the following PSD Picks:
    15, 33, 38, 39, 47, 56, 65, 83, 101

    Our potential players for trade are listed below, if they are not listed expect to be told pay way overs; forewarned :)
    Defenders;
    James Aish (DM), Daniel Rich, Joel Garner, Jimmy Webster
    Midfielders;
    Marc Murphy, Matthew Kennedy
    Forwards;
    Jamie Elliott, Joe Daniher, Matt De Boer, Oscar Allen
    Rucks;
    Patrick Ryder, Tom Hickey, Billy Longer
    Most likely only trading one or two per line at most.
    Will be looking to bundle the picks to gain earlier ones, AND/OR, turn one of the first rounders into a quality player under 28

    Foul Bay List Management:

    Off the table:
    - Dangerfield
    - Kelly
    - Goldstein
    - McEvoy

    I’ll listen to offers, but the answer is probably no:
    - Hawkins
    - Sheppard
    - Saad
    - Shiels
    - Cunnington
    - Ziebell
    - Selwood
    - Dahlhaus
    - Howard
    - Liberatore (although I did forget I had him)

    I need him, but I should probably trade:
    - Shaw
    - Roughead

    Open to offers:
    - S.Hill
    - Ellis-Yolmen
    - Atley
    - Betts
    - M.Wright
    - C. Ah Chee
    - Gleeson
    - Thurlow
    - J.Smith
    - Mullett

    Do you like retired blokes?
    - M.Johnson

    May as well retire:
    - Vince

    Best 22 defenders are my main priority or draft picks (I swear this is the year of the re-build). Who am I kidding, I had the same plan last year, but quickly forgot. I am seduced easily.

    Holding PSD picks 17, 35, 40, 71, 89 and 107

    My thinking is the cows need a fresh coat of paint and some new appliances rather than a renovation / rebuild. A bit more than a makeover, but too disruptive. Right now am happy to receive enquiries about players - with some caveats. First, and most important is I may be unwilling to sell until positions for SC 2019 are known. Second, there are no bargains prices for the players I would rather retain. So who might be available?
    • Some who had disappointing years - but note a least one posted premium player numbers as recently as 2017;
    • Those recruited to provide cover for the 2018 finals;
    • The initial review shows we could have up to 16 mids next season and there is quality aplenty. However, refer to caveat #1 above; and
    • The kids are alright and it is highly unlikely that any of the 11 under 23 years of age is leaving;
    • So, yeah, not giving a lot of guidance!

    I like the look of the PSD so the currency for trade is draft picks.

    Probably not looking to do a whole lot of trading before positions are announced, however with that being said, I'm all ears to suggestions.

    Team with 2018 positions are as follows
    DEF: Docherty, Yeo, Howe, Crisp, Houston, Carlisle, Pittard, Talia, Finlayson (D/M), Nhyuis (D/F), Otten (D/F)
    MID: Beams, Gaff, Higgins, Parker, O'Meara, Fiorini, Brodie
    RUCK: Martin, Kreuzer, McInerney
    FWD: Franklin, Greene, Hogan, Watts, Lecras, Jack (F/M), Crowden (F/M).

    Interested in any line really, hard to know position wise what is require yet, they always seem to bring surprises. Open to bringing in draft picks also.

    The Cradle Mountain Devils Recruiting and List Management team have completed stage 1 of their 2018/19 off-season list review and plan to commence the 2019 ORFFA home and away season with the following list composition:

    8 Defenders
    8 Midfielders
    4 Rucks
    8 Forwards

    We expect that fewer Devils will be changing playing positions than in the past couple of seasons, a couple of changes will be Harrison Himmelberg from D to F and Brennan Cox from D/F to F. The playing positions of Paul Seedsman and Zak Jones wont be determined until stage 2 of our off-season list review is completed early in the new year. At this early stage CMD are working on the basis that one of these players will be in defense and the other player will be in the midfield.

    Defender Lee Spurr has retired and three players from Cradle Mountain’s 2018 list are unlikely to be offered contracts for 2019, being Cameron Pederson, Daniel Menzel and Liam Picken, these three players have not been included in the line by line review below.

    In the last two-thirds of the 2018 season the Devils easily played the best football of their seven season history and want to maintain team chemistry and continue building momentum so wont be looking to actively trade any player we consider to be an automatic selection in the Cradle Mountain best 15. The line by line list review is:

    Midfield: Retain as is, six midfielders averaged over 90 in 2018 and had another two midfielders under 24 that averaged around 80,

    Ruck: Retain as is, Tasmanian Toby Nankervis is the clear-cut number 1 ruckman having averaged 98 and back-up is provided by Roughead and Boyd. Tim English is expected to develop into a best 15 player and would form a ruck duo with Nank but this might take a couple of years.

    Defense: Three defenders averaged over 80 in 2018 being M Hurley, N Vlastuin and P Seedsman whilst first year key defender Aaron Naughton showed promise and is part of CMD’s long-term plans. Jake Lever injured his knee mid-season and required a reconstruction, he has shown that he can develop into an 80+ defender. All five of these players will be retained however the Devils will be looking to recruit a durable defender before the PSD to increase the depth and provide some extra cover with Lever on the long-term injury list.

    Forward line: The forwards are Cradle Mountain’s weakest line with only two players that averaged around 80 in 2018 being T Lynch and J Gresham. Four CMD 2019 forwards averaged between 64 and 74 in 2018 being T Membrey, H Himmelberg, AMT and B Cox. First year forward/midfielder Brent Daniels is part of CMD’s long term-plans. The Devils plan to retain Membrey and Himmelberg but trade out AMT and B Cox. The Devils are aiming to recruit a forward who has proven that he can average over 80.

    On the trade table for the Cradle Mountain Devils is:

    PSD Picks 12, 30, 48, 53 – We are likely to trade out two of these four picks in the first three rounds.

    Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti (F)
    Brennan Cox was a (D/F) in 2018 will be a (F) in 2019
    Cameron Pederson (F/R) in 2018
    Daniel Menzel (F)
    Liam Picken (F)

    The Devils are looking to trade in two players before the PSD, being in priority order:

    1. An experienced forward that has proven he can average 80+

    2. An experienced durable defender, this deal might wait until after positions are released in the new year as I am uncertain if a couple of Devils will be D, M or D/M in 2019.

    I will trade Pederson, Picken or Menzel for an upgraded late PSD pick.

    CMD are looking to trade AMT and a PSD pick for an experienced forward or defender and are looking to complete a similar deal to trade out B Cox. The Devils will consider putting one or two of these package deals up for auction later in the off-season.

    @dmandrews - as our fount of all knowledge, is Dan Menzel the most traded player in ORFFA history?

    The cows drafted him in the 2016? MSD after a delisting - not sure of the previous history.
    We traded him to the Vultures prior to this years PSD
    They delisted him and the Devils drafted him in this years MSD
    They offer him for a "late" 2019 PSD pick

    Probably the most traded in one year; but overall?

    @graeme if Menzel does get traded again this year then being at three ORFFA clubs within a year is hard to beat. I am not sure who the most traded player is overall.

    Daniel Menzel started his ORFFA journey in Tassie, being drafted by Charlie's Opening with selection 345 in the inaugural draft in 2012. @Bandit might be able to fill us in on how long Menzel stayed at COS for.

    Potentially it could be four ORFFA clubs within 12 months - Cows, Vultures, Devils and ....C'mon guys let's set an unbelievable benchmark.

    Kept him for three seasons and finally ran out of patience... I’m fairly sure @graeme selected him the draft immediately after his delisting from The Pit
