Every year I have great hopes of a top 1000 finish and then just make the wrong choices to start with and then stick with other players too long.

I paid overs for Sloane last year right after he was going so strong, cost me big time.

I think with Gibbs in the side, one of them will score big whilst the other will cop the tag. Crouch will be a popular pick as long as one of the others is copping the hard tag.

That's one way of looking at it. I guess we have two options for the ORFFU league:

    1. Be as competitive between eachother as we possibly can.
    2. Share all knowledge and try to be the number one ranked league in SC.

    What would everyone prefer?

Shall we structure some discussions and then have some votes on who to pick in each position?

Starting with Rucks is always a good idea I reckon.

    Gawn + ??

Yeah, Cannot argue with Gawn + Nic Nat. It will be very popular and do we go with the herd or try something different? Kruezer really impressed last year and is a year younger than Paddy.

    my thoughts
nic Nat will take another year to get to his best as most players do after an ACL

Grundy the cox issue is a factor

Kruz has one good year not an automatic selection

Sandi wo t play every game

nank not proven and got beaten up against the good rucks

martin may have smith playing with him which affects his scores.

    Ryder is an option

Jacobs is my pick the most consistent over past six years

I also like the Jacobs selection....Mr Consistency.
Has played 20-22 games every year since 2012 and averaged 85-115 in those yrs, with 96 his average last year.....and no other ruck to take any playing time away...

I don't think you can go past Gawn. Priced at 90ish but very capable of 100+.

Is NicNat still priced at $465k? Seems a bit pricey for someone coming back from an ACL imo. I reckon it will take him a few rounds to get going and come back up to AFL speed.

Taking my Cow Bay hat off, how about Lycett? Priced at around 50-odd, capable of 85+ if fit?

id say lycett is behind nic and Vardy, if nic goes down then lycett is a chance but he is also recovering from an injury with no news coming out of wce
