The 29ers have finished on 1274 on the unofficial scoreboard, we await posting of the Boozers @leematty1 score to see whether we have caused an upset.
I think we scored 1354 or thereabouts. Although next week will be hard with some suspensions and no ruck available.
Jan Juc moved to first after defeating the previously top ranked Glow-Worms while elsewhere a late surge handed the Noahs a much needed win in a high scoring match at MacQuarie Island. After 8 rounds the big surprise team to date is the Boozers, the White Pointers once again are in a position to break through for their maiden gains appearance while the Noahs appear to be turning things around in time for a surge towards their 6th straight finals berth. Fun fact - in 2020 the Round 8 ORFFF ladder was largely unchanged at the top end after Round 15 with the Noah’s swapping 3rd place with the 4th placed Woylies the sole move, while teams lower down (9th-16th) moved a maximum of 2 spots up or down over the last 7 rounds. Will this trend hold in 2021 ? The 11th placed Noahs certainly hope not !
