<p class='Standard]In what was tough few weeks for AFL fantasy fans, round 14 promises to be an exciting weekend of games that will hopefully bring with it some rewards for those desperately needing some fantasy points.
    <p class='Standard]
<p class='Standard]After a disappointing season so far, midfielder Steve Johnson's late withdrawal from last week's action means he now owes a lot of those fantasy coaches who have been loyal to him. Johnson has maintained a presence in a lot of fantasy teams despite his struggles this season, most recently earning an average of just 76 points a game in his last three appearances. The midfielder finished last season with an average of 96, but Johnson dominated the team in 2011 with huge scores of 171 and 146.

<p class='Standard]While the Eagles racked up six scores of 100+ points against the Suns, there is still far too much risk in selecting Johnson as your captain for round 14, no matter how tempting it may be. There's no doubt the 30-year old is a talented player, and there will be more than a number of Geelong fans hoping the versatile midfielder rediscovers his form this season.
    <p class='Standard]
<p class='Standard]Johnson isn't the only player looking to repay fantasy managers after a dismal couple of weeks, with Collingwood youngster Dayne Beams also eager to return to the points after recording just 76points in his last appearance before joining a list of non-starters for round 13. A week out of the firing line could be a huge benefit to the 24-year old and Beams will be looking to at least match the 91 points he picked up against the Hawks last season.
    <p class='Standard]
<p class='Standard]On the other end of the spectrum, Brendon Goddard is coming off the back of his best ever weekend of fantasy points. The midfielder scored a gargantuan 157 points against Melbourne in round 13, racking up the highest amount of fantasy points that round and earning the highest fantasy score in his career. With an average of 118 points in his last five games, Goddard has convinced a lot of fantasy fans that he is going to continue to be a very valuable player during the rest of this season.
    <p class='Standard]
<p class='Standard]With a group of young stars coming through the ranks, fantasy fans have been desperate to find the best of the bunch. While recent history it's been names such as Ablett, Swan, Johnson and Rockliff who were meant to be the best fantasy options, this year has seen the emergence of Tom Liberatore. The Bulldogs youngster has an impressive average of 122 points from his last three appearances, failing to record a score of less than 110 points in each of his last seven games.
    <p class='Standard]
<p class='Standard]Adam Treloar is another youngster making his mark in the fantasy standings this season, averaging 121 points from his last four outings as he prepares to face Carlton on a ground where he has been averaging 134 points this season, against opponents who he scored 109 points against last year.
    <p class='Standard]
<p class='Standard]If you're looking at bet365 betting in Australia, there is still a lot of scope to make money this AFL season, and the same can be said of fantasy fans looking to come out on top this year. But it's important to remember a lot can change over the course of a couple of rounds in this league.
