As you may have read, we have another competition to get up and running sponsered by the great people from Combined Chauffeured Cars in honour of the Field of Women game. In the offering are two tickets to The Big Day Out in Melbourne with a chauffeuered ride. Awesome, no?
More than awesome, its a great way to make it up to the long suffering significant other in your life that has to put up with the season long obsession with SuperCoach and Footy in general. What says "I promise not to mention Ablett for at least a month" better than a big day out thanks to Combined Chauffeured Cars?
As was rightly pointed out, though there may be a whole lot of testosterone floating around these parts, there are some seriously involved ladies as well. If one of these women take out the competition, we just might have to throw in a little extra. It is the Field of Women competition, afterall.
So, what does the competition entail? If youve been clicking on that link up there for the Compeitions page to enter your tips, you might have noticed a new tab CCC Field of Women. Were running this competition from there. Essentially, what you have to do is try to predict the SuperCoach highest scoring player from each game that will be played in round 7. You select a player from one of each of the games that will be playing using the drop down menus and then enter in the score you think theyll get for the game. Walesys written up the exact way itll be scored on the page but basically, the closest to the button for the weekends worth of games will win. So head up there or <a href="http://tooserious.net/tipping.php?page=tipping&display=tipping_SC_players">click here to have a look.

Beyond that, weve decided to really get into the spirit of things. The Field of Women isnt just about selling tickets and trying to reel in the ever elusive female audience... Its also a great chance to work to raise awareness about breast cancer and womens health. In this spirit, weve decided to get behind the cause and work to get some money donated to the Breast Cancer Network Australia. To this end, well donate a dollar for each of the first 100 people who join our competition. If a woman wins? Well double our donation. If youd like to read about them and what they do, <a href="http://www.bcna.org.au/">click here.
We hope that a few of you can join in with us and donate as well. If youd like, we can list your name or the name of your business and the amount donated here on the blog in a post or you can remain anonymous.
If you want to donate with us, <a href="http://tooserious.net/?page=donate">click here and send some money our way (either fill in on the form that the moneys for the BCNA or, failing that, email us at too.serious.team.management@gmail.com and let us know) and well tally up how much has been donated through us at the end and send it on through or you can donate to them directly <a href="http://www.bcna.org.au/content/view/488/502/">here. If you take this route but would still like to get your name or business listed in one of our posts, send us an email with your receipt details in it and we can work it out.
So, be in it to win it. The more of you who enter, the more of our hard earned will be going towards the Breast Cancer Network Australia and, of course, youll be in the running to win the fantastic prize donated by Combined Chauffeured Cars. Remember to let you wives and the female members of your league know so that they can join in too- if they win, theyll get some sort of additional prize and well double our personal donation to the BCNA. Win-win peoples.
