Thought this could be of interest to everyone. Seems Nani maybe back earlier then expected. Kinda ruins my Nani to Valencia trade as i expected Valencia to really step up in his absence, even though he just came back from injury

    http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/s...ter-united-hopes/story-e6frfg8x-1226021613122

<blockquote>Manchester United's Nani is winning his race to be fit to face Marseille.

The 24-year-old made a comeback to the club's Carrington training base earlier than anticipated and could be a shock inclusion in tomorrow's squad.

Michael Carrick and Michael Owen were also in attendance following calf and knee injuries.

Central defender Nemanja Vidic missed the session as he needed treatment for a knock but is expected to feature, as is Antonio Valencia, who returned from an ankle injury at the weekend.

Portuguese winger Nani was not expected to be back until after the forthcoming international break after suffering a gashed leg in a challenge by Jamie Carragher in the defeat by Liverpool last week.

But Ferguson said: 'Nani has made great progress. He has not trained yet but he has been on the bike and is doing things like that. The stitches have done their bit and healed the wound.

Ferguson said: 'It was a fantastic bonus to get 35 minutes from Antonio on Saturday, considering he has been out for such a long time.

'That fact that Antonio (Valencia) is available is a great boost for us. Hopefully it does help us. The team needs to step up and perform to win the league.'</blockquote>

Cant believe that Nani was going to be out that long for a gash on his leg. Stich it and strap it boy!
Wes Brown is a joke how does he get a game.
Injuries to key defenders i guess but man.

They're lying. Flanders beats Gumby, 43-34.

And for those who rushed to cut Nani (and no, I'm not referring to Jamie Carraher) and RVP - trust nothing that old rednose or the mad french professor tell you.

Latest is that Djourou could be back as well, despite "season ending" injury.

so what's the advice - hold off trading Nani and Djourou for the moment - I have both.
Is Clown nose going to play Berbatov this week?

Has anyone from Fan Footy acknowledged the Derby result mix up yet?

I reckon Nani will play against Bolton.

Its another 2 week break after this weekend due to internationals so I'm not rushing to trade Djourou either (I have decent cover at the back anyways).

I know some of us have a cup final to concentrate on, however you might want to keep one eye on GW33 as that is the weekend set aside for FA Cup semifinals.

And, for those that do have a cup final, here's hoping you rub Binky's nose in it!!

On a serious note I do think that win lose or draw Ele has done a great job to make the final and wish him all the best for the final..............It's great for a "serious" final contender and may Binky have all the luck of a cat at a dog pound. :>)
