WOW! What a round! Â Round 10 started quite slow but boy did it gather pace. Â This week saw top spot beaten, the highest score from a team in our league and the highest score from an individual player for the year. Â In the NFL, the biggest news of the week was Michael Vick. Â He had the game of his life in an unstoppable performance as he decimated the Redskins 59-28. Â It took just 18 seconds for Vick to pass long on the first play for an 88 yard touchdown, a few minutes later he ran one himself and had two more TD throws to finish the quarter with four TDs. Â Vick amassed 49 fantasy points in an awesome display.
There were a couple of other huge games, the biggest saw Bradys (and my) Patriots up against Big Bens Steelers. Â Both teams took in a 6&2 record but from early on in the game the Pats were obviously the dominant team. Â Brady played his best game of the season and led them to a 39-26 victory to maintain equal best record in NFL. Â Later on the Denver Broncos jumped out of the gates and bolted to an impressive lead with some huge bombs landing perfectly for Orton, which saw the Broncos beat the chiefs 49-29. Â The Cowboys upset the Giants in their first week with a new coach. Â Both the Jets and the Falcons won to join the Pats on 7&2. Â Look out for the week 13 game between the Jets and my Pats for Monday night football, it will probably decide who takes that division and finishes on top of the AFC. Â Well I guess its time for the league review...

I thought I might start with myself this week. Â MR WIGGLES (e) came up against ladder leaders BOLDIN SHOWERS (w) in what was a must win for the wigglers. Â Well, it wasnt looking good early for me, I was needing 40 points out of the pittsburgh v New England game just to draw even and with players on opposing teams it was a long shot. Â It ended up perfect for me, Brady, my QB had a massive 32 points for NE and Wallace for Pittsburgh got a couple of late, long TDs to finish on 25, meaning I took an 18 point lead into Mondays game. Â Boldin had two players to my one in the last game, fortunately for me, mine was on Vicks team and BSes were against him and were never able to get into the game. Â Wiggles ended up winning 96-66 to keep my playoff dream alive and Boldin Showers is now only a game ahead in the west.
Next up was a close one between THE PACK (w) and DOOBIA DOOBS (w).  Doobs gave up long ago which was lucky for the Pack, had Doobs looked at his team and swapped his quarterbacks, (his starter had the bye  and he left Big Ben on the bench) it would of been his 3rd victory of the season.  Luckily for The Pack it wasnt to be and he scraped through 66-63 to stay in the hunt for playoffs.  The Pack was handed a huge disadvantage by choosing the Kansas Chiefs who, as previously mentioned got walloped and finished with -10 points.  Add to that a TE with a 0 score and he was real lucky, only Frank Gore was a standout and has been all year (his photo scares me).
Third game up saw The ADELAIDE MAGGOTS (e) up against the desperate TOO SERIOUSESES (e) with the Maggots needing a win to stay in a tie for second and the TSes needing a win just to keep slim hopes of playoff action alive. Â In the end it wasnt even close, with the TSes running away with the choccies, 105-43. Â The Maggots had only one player crack double digits, his kicker (go figure) with a huge 18 points. Â On the other hand TSes had 5 in double digits with his #1 draft pick MJD, top scoring with 24. Â This puts both these teams on level pegging and with only 3 rounds to play and being two games behind Stowie its going to be a tough ask, still, stranger things have happened.
Next was match-up of the round. Â TEAM STOWIE (e) and AUSSIE BATTLERS (e) were locked together at the top of the east on 5&4. Â Most likely only the top of the division will see playoff action so the stakes were high. Â It was a close fought battle with the ever consistent Stowie winning 117-101. Â ABs had the highest score with Dwayne Bowe hauling in 30 points but Stowie had three players in the twenties and was solid across the board, his D/ST bringing in 12 compared to -1 was a real killer. Â So Stowie goes a game ahead in the East and ABs are equal with Wiggles in second with only a handful of Points For separating them, it should be close to the end with Stowie still to play wiggles and also ABs to play Wiggles in the final rounds.
Finally weve come to the big one, Â SAM CROW (w) putting up the biggest score in our league for the season on the back of some Michael Vick brilliance. Â UNDER ACHIEVERS (w) were no match this week, going down 159-79. Â Sam Crow had a high score of 49 from Vick, another two players in the twenties and a total of 7 out of nine players with double digit scores, what a week! Â Id like to mention the UAs a little more but really, this game was all about Sam Crow. Â This move SuperCoach into equal second with the Pack and his huge score providing him with some healthy Points For which will be critical at the end of the regular season.
Well thats the review.  Only three weeks remaining before playoffs and the draft window closes on Thursday 25th Nov at 4:00am EDST, so if your keen get cracking before its too late.  Next week  the big game is The Pack 6&4 v  Boldin Showers 7&2, to see if the Pack can climb into top spot or maybe Sam Crow will get there if he can beat Aussie Battlers and BS loses too.  In the NFL, the big game of the round will be The Patriots v The Colts (Manning V Brady), which will be on OneHD at around 6pm if youve got some spare time.  Till next week... happy trading (remember not long to go)
