Guessing we will have a few running, depending on people's preferences. AFL Fantasy are already up and running, as mentioned by walesy on page 1. Len and chels already getting excited. Auto create a team you can fix later and jump in. TS ORFFA Plus (fantasy.afl.com.au) CODE: PTXDC4X9

Are you expecting that not everyone will join it. Fair enough I reckon. Can the amount of teams in the league be changed later if need be?
I made a deliberate decision last year not to play AFLF, so I could focus more attention on ORFFA. However, TiB's highly motivational OP has sold me this year. I'm in.
Agreed......didn't give AFL a passing glance last year but TiB has dusted off the cobwebs......I'm in.
It is the lack of a fantasy fix (+ the NY climate) for so long that is causing us all to jump in like trout that take anything on open day. This AFLF has done some serious re-jigging during the ORF season, mostly designed to attract people to pay money. Alas, I am not one of those, so upping from 16 unlikely to be an option. Normally ORFFA has the odd recalcitrant or two, so it should work out. I find this form of fantasy allows for more risk taking and experimentation, all of which can later be applied in SC (if they work).

'[span style='color: #000000; background: #ffffff;]I find this form of fantasy allows for more risk taking and experimentation, all of which can later be applied in SC (if they work).' Just a little bit offensive TiB, those of us who enjoy the retired lifestyle (i.e., not working) are also allowed to enjoy any fruits of risk taking and experimentation.
Have just set my team, but boy do I suck at AFL Fantasy......... What was the end result about making the league smaller, to 12 teams ? At 8/16 we are under the gun.
