Perhaps it is a bit late for this ... but. With a Monday game and the uncertainty about the composition of the two teams, would it hurt to hold finalising ORFFA line ups until the Monday teams are finalised (some time Saturday pm?) and delay the start of trading until then? A bit rambly but hope you follow.

Provisional Round 10 Dirigibles OUT: McGlynn (yay, another injured midfielder), Haynes (groin), Cooney IN: Mcintosh, May (yay, more defenders getting games), Seb Ross (the rarest of beasts - a midfielder returning from injury) for his debut perhaps. Newnes goes into the middle to try and give us four playing midfielders. Edwards stays in the middle. Seb Ross - if he plays - goes to the bench. If he doesn't play I think I'll pull on a guernsey. A bit rambly but hope you follow. Definitely think we should delay trading until after the Monday game. And wouldn't be against some split round arrangement given the Monday game. We haven't catered for Monday games in previous years with partial lockouts. This was the rule as outlined last year, following a similar discussion. <p style='color: #000000; margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;][/b][span style='color: #434343; background: transparent;]'Partial lockouts will only be in effect for Thursday games, which means coaches are only required to submit the names of those players involved in the Thursday games by kick off on Thursday night. The remainder of your team needs to be submitted by kick off on Friday night.[/b] <p style='color: #000000; margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;][/b][span style='color: #434343; background: transparent;] Outside of that scenario, final team entry will be required by no later than kick off on Friday nights. Thanks JC, consider my withdrawal complete as well. It is neat to have such competent people to organise the headless chooks. oOops, I can't say that as chooks are chief's speciality.
Nice work keeping the wowdy wabble of wuffians in line JC Iron Knob welcome the long lost, thought dead, Pearce Hanley this week D - Garland, Hodge, Burgoyne, Henderson (Harbrow) M - Hanley, Griffen, Shuey, Macrae (Mackay) R - Minson F - Swan, Gray, JRiewoldt, Breust (Hale) I - KStevens, Hallahan (Puopolo)

Final Waikick Cows for round 10 match v. Dean's Devils from Cradle Mountain (note, this has been heavily edited) D - ]Hibberd,H Taylor, Duffield, Geary M - Fyfe, ]Hannebery,McVeigh, ]Gleeson(Graham) R - S Jacobs (O'Brien) F - ]T Mitchell,Elliott, Griffiths, Robinson (McLean) I - J McGovern, C Sinclair (]M Wright) In - McLean (initially Wood was an in, but north's reaction to a poor effort was to sacrifice one who did not play last week and make him an emergency) Out - Harwood (concussed on debut - hope Hanley does better Jimbo) Point of interest - Toby Mclean (]our third selection in the 2015 PSD) has been picked for his first game for the Doggies. We wish Toby all the best and hope he immediately puts pressure on some of the lame mongrels masquerading as our forwards. Injury round up - The byes could not come soon enough for the Cows. We are hopeful that Brad Crouch, Ryan Harwood and possibly Nick Dal Santo will be available for selection when we play Larrikin Lagoon in ORFFA round 11. In common with almost all ORRFAns the prospect of putting our best 15 on the track may hopefully become more than a pipe dream.
Lee Spurr is a late out with a corked leg which has required me to reshuffle the Devils line-up and move Gwilt from the ruck to defense and 175 cm tall Ben Kennedy from an emergency to the ruck, so basically we are conceding the ruck to Sam Jacobs. Full team is below: Cradle Mountain Round 10 team In: James Gwilt, Tom Boyd, Ben Kennedy Out: Dustin Fletcher (groin), Jake Lever (ankle), Lee Spurr (corked leg) [span style='color: #333333;]DEF Michael Hurley, Nick Smith, Nick Vlastuin, James Gwilt MID Scott Pendlebury, Dyson Heppell, Liam Shiels, Shaun Grigg (Jack Steele) RUC Ben Kennedy OOP (Toby Nankervis) FWD Dayne Zorko, Tyson Goldsack, Drew Petrie, Adam Goodes INTER Steve Johnson, Tom Boyd After his best afield performance last week Liam Shiels has been promoted to a starting spot in the midfield and will be given the massive task of playing on the ORFFA's most in-form player Nathan Fyfe. Shiels has the skill-set to either go head to head with Fyfe, a la Dangerfield last week, or play a lock-down defensive role. Steve Johnson will be starting in the unfamiliar position of the interchange. Good luck for the game Graeme. The Devils are in a similar position to the Cows and are struggling to field a full 15 man team let alone with everyone in position.

Swapping Sheridan & Lonergan as mid & IC subs so Sheridan, now he's not the sub, can cover for the doubtful Murphy.
Given Seb Ross has been named, the frightening prospect of me pulling on a guernsey and plaing has been averted. Ross will most likely be sub so him being on the park over Vickery is a tacit concession that: a) Fitzy is going to win this week, and b) fielding five Richmond players vs Fremantle is a bridge too far even for me. Putting Ross on the park over Cooney is a tacit admission that: a) Fitzy is going to win this week b) I just want to give the young kid a game. c) O'Meara is still injured Roll on bye rounds and the possible return of Tyson, McGlynn, and a match-hardened Seb Ross for my midfield!
