In the big match of the round the Cows (10th) host the Devils (11th). Are we playing for continued contact with the top eight or are we playing for MSD positions? Time will tell.

    For the Cows -
    In - J McGovern, C Sinclair, H Taylor
Out - T McLean (injured), A Hall (form), N Graham (selection error at CFC),

    D - J McGovern, H Taylor, R Harwood, D Howe*
    M - D Hannebery, T Mitchell, J McVeigh, J Dunkley*
    R - S Jacobs^
    F - D Menzel, M Wood, T Campbell^, C Sinclair^
    I - M Robinson, B Griffiths ( B Williams*)

No :spud:'s named (o_O) but quite a few in the fallow paddock behind the Bulls Hit Tavern.

    Cradle Mountain’s Round 12 team

    In: D Petrie, B Kennedy
Out: D McStay (omitted), J Steele (omitted)

    Def: N Vlastuin, L Spurr, S Gilbert, J Lever (Z Jones)
    Mid: S Pendlebury, D Zaharakis, S Grigg, J Hopper (J Gresham)
    Ruc: J Roughead
    Fwd: D Zorko, S Johnson, B Kennedy, D Petrie (D McStay)
    Inter: J Redden, L Shiels (N Smith)

Graeme, yes two prizes on offer for our game of 10th vs 11th, winner improves their finals chances, whereas the loser will find it difficult to make the eight but will have the consolation prize of a slightly earlier position in the draft.

Unfortunately Phillips didn't make the cut, neither did Tomilinson so no warm bodies left to play as an oop ruck

Cows ease to a total of 1277 with a couple of players making a last ditch effort to stay contracted - well done Harry. But why leave the anti-:spud: performance until now?

The Devils have a bit of a mountain to climb. By my rough estimate 271 with Pendlebury and BenKen yet to appear. A "Danger type performance";) by Master Pendles would probably be enough to lead his side to victory.

The Cows are in a very strong position, but yes Graeme the door has been left ever so slightly ajar. For the Devils to get up Pendles and BenKen need to replicate their season best performances of 157 and 115 respectively which is very unlikely but not impossible.

A more consistent effort from Cradle Mountain this weekend with seven players scoring at least 80, but as yet no tons.

Cows forward Daniel Menzel who due to four knee reconstructions has played very little footy in the ORFFA is the club-house leader for the 5 Les W medal votes, having scored 121 points.

Just on 1070 with Tyson and Greenwood to play today. Given I had no ruckman, lost Adams as a late withdrawal and thus had my two last resort backmen (Gleeson and Stratton) playing, I'm pretty happy with some encouraging efforts.

Lyons, Coniglio and Rance vying for the 5 Hindy votes, while lots of 85-95 range scoring across the board.

A proper ruckman and Adams in the side would see me around 1150 or so from 13. I'd almost take that and hope for 170 from my last two players.

The returns of Adams, Saad, Jonas and Ceglar will be welcomed. Roll on 3 weeks break.

Well done Chris, the concussion to Spitta and a couple of dodgy selections have cost me.
