We have: Mawson Base, Foul Bay, Iron Knob, Marble Bar, Whitsundays, Birdsville, Gundagai, Cradle Mountain and Charlie's Opening. Express your views, preferences on the following, including happy to go along based on averages (if R8 of ORFFA, is that not a bye round?). I might have to withdraw Ablett from the squad as he is carrying a bit of a sore knee I am ok going with averages. Only changes we COULD make would be looking for viable sideways replacement for D. Stanley?

Quote from Fitzy on May 23, 2012, 15:50 Im confused, why only those teams? and what is this all about
The other teams are called opposition There is a thread suggesting this, with an ensuing discussion Fitzy, you should be able to catch up there fast.
Just some ideas/thoughts Last 3 round average is a way of getting the current form factor. Maybe a list of probables based on ytd avgs and then possibles using any standout differences on the last 3 rounds.. Players in teams playing GWS or Melbourne may be considered for extra point potential?
.....nice work sir Tib.....and bloody nice squad too. Couple of injuries in there, fisher/stanley No prob in just starting top 7 by average, those that are playing anyway. We should kill them.

Quote from Simonoz on May 23, 2012, 22:33 and bloody nice squad too.
+1 I think we taking rolling 3 week average. Fixture for the week is: Round 14 (Round 8 ORFFA) Friday, June 29 Carlton vs. Hawthorn (MCG) (N) Saturday, June 30 Collingwood vs. Fremantle (MCG) Adelaide Crows vs. Richmond (AS) West Coast Eagles vs. Gold Coast SUNS (PS) (T) Essendon vs. Western Bulldogs (ES) (N) Sydney Swans vs. GWS GIANTS (ANZ) (N) Sunday, July 1 Geelong Cats vs. Port Adelaide (SS) (E) Brisbane Lions vs. Melbourne (G) St Kilda vs. North Melbourne (ES) (T) I suggest we should give extra consideration to West Coast, Sydney and Essendon players given the soft games they have.
So with my theory on Eagles, Sydney and Dons players tonning up I would add: Malceski (Birdsville) into the backline for consideration Shuey (Iron Knob) into the mids

The squad above is based on current averages. Much will depend on their performance in the rounds leading up to (hence the inclusion of ROK), what some people are calling rolling 3, plus injuries (i.e., Fisher will be back by then), plus the likely match-ups (opposition). All these factors will be taken into consideration in deciding the final squad. What we seek here is agreement on the starting eleben hundred which will be narrowed down to 25 before R13.
Dear Coord, The above mentioned players are a perfect starting point - throw in some other players mentioned above and we'll readdress over the coming week(s).
What we seek here is agreement Ok then, agreed. There you go, that shouldn't set off too many independent thought alarms
