The Round 4 fixture is as follows (teams currently in the 8 in bold):-

Cockburn Avengers (2-1) vs Neptune Island Noahs (3-0)
The Noahs have been in red hot form and should have too much depth and class in this South Australian derby matchup and are heavily favoured to take out their first win over the Avengers side who delivered a rare 196 point smashing to the Neptune Islanders in Round 12, 2017.

Heard Island Shags (1-2) vs Black Swamp 29ers (3-0)
Heard Island are gunning for their 2nd win in a row against 29ers side whose 3-0 record is largely due to good fortune as a narrow round 2 win has been sandwiched between matches where their opposition have copped donuts. The Head to head is 1 apiece with the Shags winning comfortably in Round 11, 2017

Walpole Woylies (2-1) vs Rutherglen Fugitives (2-1)
4th plays 7th as two of the favourites for the top four clash in an intriguing contest. The Woylies were far too good when the teams last clashed in Round 1, 2017 and the all time H2H is tied at 1 apiece.

Drouin Dropbears (0-3) vs Maralinga Atoms (3-0)
Maralinga won’t be taking the Dropbears lightly as they strive to win 5 straight for the first time in club history while the Dropbears will be desperate to avoid their 5th straight loss. Drouin are 2 from 2 against the Atoms and dropped 1420 on this week’s opposition when they last met in Round 12, 2017.

Useless Loop Virgins (1-2) vs Nangkita Bucks (2-1)
6th vs 9th promises to be one of the closest matches of the round. The Virgins trounced the Bucks on the same ground in Round 6 last season, and the all time series is knotted 1 all.

MacQuarie Island Whales (1-2) vs Mt Thirsty Boozers (2-1)
The Whales have been a solid offensive team whose back 6 have conceded just shy of 4000 points over the opening 3 weeks of the season. The reigning premier Boozers look to be the stronger side as they strive to make it 3 wins from 4 to start the season. The all time Head to head is 1 apiece with the Boozers winning by nearly 300 points when the teams last clashed in Round 15, 2017.

Wedge Island WhitePointers (0-3) vs Jan Juc Ducks (1-2)
The visitors appear to be slight favourites against a Pointers side that will want to dig deep in front of their home support, Jan Juc has won both previous encounters including a triple digit win in the corresponding clash in the corresponding round last season

Mole Creek Glow-Worms (0-3) vs Port Lincoln Power (1-2)
The visitors will took to balance their season ledger against a Glow-worms side that has shown great resolve so far this season and will be looking of revenge and a 2-1 all time Head to Head lead after a loss to the Power in their Round 3, 2017 match.

In the third week of the 2018 ORFF* Knockout the 3 remaining teams all play opppnents from the ORFFA in the Round of 16. Mac Island hosts ORFFF coach @anthak's ORFFA franchise Gariwerd while fellow trippers Cockburn and Useless Loop travel to 'FA sides Foul Bay and Cradle Mountain respectively.

Once again team entry can be done at http://tooserious.net/forum/tsLeagues.php?leagueId=14 (just click the green button under Submit Team).

Once lockout is underway Matchday teams can be found at http://tooserious.net/forum/tsLeagueMatchday.php?leagueId=14&round=4

    Good luck all.

Black Swamp (Round 4) - subject to late change if needed

    In - Cutler, Beams, JDG
    Out - Grigg, McVeigh, Hooker
Please note that Beams was a late out replaced by Grigg in Round 3

Cutler Geary Jonas SDT - McVeigh
Bont Henderson Duckwood S Hill - Grigg
Westhoff ANB JDG S Edwards - Hooker
    Sinclair - no emg
    Hardwick Beams - Newman

Cutler was a late in for the Lions last week and he showed enough to crack his first game of the season, joining JDG who returned through the 2's last weekend. Beams also returns and the trio replace veterans Grigg, McVeigh and Hooker who join Newman as Round 4 emergencies.

Mayes, Joyce, Fogarty and Hayward all miss out on the 19 despite making their AFL sides 22 this week while Gallucci, Stretch, Clark and Roughead will also play 2nds after being named as emergencies for their AFL sides. Barlow is once again named in the NEAFL as Stewie Dew plays the kids early on and Sam Reid rejoins the injury list while Viney edges another week closer to his long awaited return.

Even with the late late out of Murphy, the heroics of Ben Brown’s 167 has helped the Boozers to a strong position against the Whales. 9-855 vs the oppositions 13-1045

Late in the 3rd quarter at Heard Island the home side have managed 13/1001 to lead the visiting 29ers 8/673 in an evenly poised match.

Daniher and Brayshaw run out for the Shags on Sunday while Westhoff, Jonas, Henderson, ANB, Hardwick, Geary and Duckwood are still yet to play for Black Swamp.

At the end of the Essendon game, we may be looking at some low scoring records....

Mole Creek 13/870 being led by Port Lincoln 13/1050

Port with Bruce and Brand to come, Mole Creek with Petracca and Gresham

Boozers trying to lose this one. Rocky with 29, motlop 36 and titch a rare bad game.

Boozers have a 42 point lead and billings vs tuohy. Billings trying to lose this one also.

Oh we still have Sinclair too. Not doing much but should be enough to win this one.
