The Round 7 fixture is as follows (teams currently in the 8 in bold):- Black Swamp 29ers (6-0) vs Walpole Woylies (4-2) The undefeated 29ers face a tough task this week with Woylies solid early season form setting themselves up for a top 4 assault as the Woylies move towards the premiership window. The H2H is 1 apiece with home teams prevailing both times, including the Woylies by 134 in Round 4, 2017. Maralinga Atoms (4-2) vs Rutherglen Fugitives (5-1) Its 3rd vs 7th this week as the Fugitives head to the Badlands this week to play a Maralinga side with an elite defensive gameplan and a playing group who are hellbent on breaking their finals drought in 2018. Head to Head the teams are 1 all, with visiting teams winning both games by under 50 points., with Maralinga prevailing by 46 points in Round 13, 2017. Neptune Island Noahs (5-1) vs Drouin Dropbears (2-4) A replay of the 2016 Grand Final sees the Noahs as heavy favourite to defeat a Dropbears side that so far has been a shadow of it’s 2016 and 2017 vintages. The Noahs will be looking to win their 4th straight against Drouin, with a long break since the teams last clashed in Round 1, 2017. Jan Juc Ducks (2-4) vs Useless Loop Virgins (4-2) 10th placed Jan Juc face the 5th placed Virgins in a game that will see a fired up home side desperate to take the 4 points and stay in touch with the teams above them. THe Head to Head is 2-1 in the Virgins favour, with away teams winning each time including the Vrigins in Round 2, 2017. Heard Island Shags (2-4) vs Cockburn Avengers (4-2) The Avengers will look to rebound back from a shocking Round 6 performance having fallen narrowly short of 1400 in Round 5. Which Cockburn team turns up probably decides this game as Heard Island appear to the steadier and more consistent side but with arguably less upside displayed in the opening 6 rounds. Cockburn have won both previous clashes between the teams, including by 40 points in Round 14, 2017. Mt Thirsty Boozers (4-2) vs Nangkita Bucks (2-4) The 2017 premiers are at home and while they have been short of their 2017 form they appear to have enough firepower to overcome a Nangkita side that have traditionally started well and fallen into disarray as the season wears on. It is clear that the Boozers enjoy dining on Venison with the previous clashes being 295 and 271 point margins in favour of Mt Thirsty, including Round 13, 2017. The first clash is the Bucks largest ever loss in their club history. Port Lincoln Power (3-3) vs Macquarie Island Whales (1-5) The Power were competitive in their opening 5 games but were embarrassed last week. The Whales simply must win this one or they can write off season 2018. A big home crowd is expected as the Power look to return to the winners list. The Whales lead Port Lincoln 2 nil in the Head to Head. and last but by no means least Wedge Island White Pointers (0-6) vs Mole Creek Glow-Worms (0-6) The teams match up in Round 7 for the 3rd year running and for the second year straight the teams are 15th and 16th heading into this clash. It’s not often that a team loses 21 of it’s last 22 games can arguably start as favourites but Wedge Island has been not broken 1000 points in the past fortnight and hence the Glow-Worms are currently $1.85 in the head to head market and seeing a steady flow of cash from the punting public. Don’t expect either team to break 1300 or for the winners to remember the team song on Sunday night but their will be pride and draft position on the line in this contest. Expect plenty of experimentation from both sides as they have one eye on the early picks in the 2018 MSD. The Head to Head is 1 apiece, with home teams winning both times and the White Pointers prevailing in a dour 1055 - 1003 slug-fest last time they clashed, with the victors posting the second lowest ever wining score in ORFFF history in the 3rd lowest aggregate match overall. In intercomp contests the Knockout Grand Final sees the ORFFF unrepresented while 2 of the ORFFU's finest stand toe to toe. Meanwhile the ORFFF contingent of Mt Thirsty, Drouin, Jan Juc and Rutherglen are facing Groote Eylandt (ORFFU), Venus Bay (ORFFA), Serengeti (ORFFU) and Mallacoota (ORFFL) respectively in the Champions League Round of 16. Two of the matches are derbies of sorts as Useless Loop coach @YAD69 also coaches the Barracudas and Jan Juc coach @thokash also coaches the Magicians so while they may have mixed allegiances the rest of us wish the ORFFF contingent well. Once again team entry can be done at http://tooserious.net/forum/tsLeagues.php?leagueId=14 (just click the green button under Submit Team). @Bearfly @That KI Guy @thokash @tyze1 @MrsBear @YAD69 @stowie @anthak @leematty1 @port_leschenault @ViQBoZ @Len @Brett Sanders @Dale Duivesteyn @Darran PLEASE NOTE THAT DEFAULT TEAMS AS ENTERED LAST WEEK APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN WIPED SO BE SURE TO ENTER A TEAM AGAIN ON THURSDAY NIGHT OR FRIDAY MORNING SO WE DON’T END UP WITHOUT TEAMS ENTERED FOR ROUND 7. As noted last week a few "preventable" donuts have been copped in recent weeks so once again in the spirit of a friendly and fair competition please try to actively manage your team up until the Friday night lockout wherever possible throughout the year. Once lockout is underway Matchday teams can be found at http://tooserious.net/forum/tsLeagueMatchday.php?leagueId=14&round=7 Good luck all.
Boozers lose Daw and Cameron injured this week as injuries have decimated this year's team, but at least we get a ruckman back. Def: H Shaw, M Suckling, J Webster, M Hurley (W Brodie*) Mid: B Hartung, T Mitchell, J Sinclair, L McDonald (B Banfield) Ruck: P Ryder Fwd: J Cripps, B Fritsch, J Billings, B Brown (S Motlop) Int: J Carlisle, K Amon (O Fantasia)
That's annoying with the team wipe, hopefully people are diligent and are checking their teams. Massive matches for the Ducks (and Magicians!) this week. Not enough for us to panic and bring Ablett back early though, I reckon we have it covered without him. Let's hope Grundy passes the late fitness test, covering with Lycett just in case of funny business. DEF: Houli, Crisp, Lever, T. McDonald (Thurlow) MID: Zaharakis, Douglas, Atkins, Lewis RUC: Grundy (Lycett) FWD: Boak, M. Robinson, Wallis, Jenkins (Stringer) INT: N. Jones, Hawkins
Mole Creek Round 7 With a chance to break their win streak Mole Creek are going all out for a win this week. Injuries have unfortunately hurt their depth and will require some youngsters to step up with Aish, Petracca, Fiorini missing and Petracca looking a likely late out. Hardwick, Grigg, Gallucci and Lachie Fogarty are emergencies for the 29ers and along with Hayward and Joyce will play seconds despite being named for their AFL teams. Joyce and Hunter Clark will also run out for the reserves having been named on the 8 man extended interchange for Sunday's games. Barlow, Sam Mayes, Nic Newman, Billy Stretch and Jordan Roughead will also play in the seconds having failed to make the 26 for their AFL teams. Viney appears to be set for a Round 8 return to footy while Reid is out of action until after the byes.

Anyone unable to enter a team through ts site (I am clueless on the issue it's a @walesy thing) please post the team here pre lockout and I will enter it
Noahs still relying heavily on the good form of defensive draftees in Finlayson and Morrison, with Haynes and Hunt down on form and Byrne out injured. Third defensive draftee in Cumming is not far off a debut as well. Shipley played his first game last week and held his own without setting the world on fire. However the mercurial Eddie has returned so Ship heads back to the magoos to hone his skills. Def - Howe, Rich, Finlayson, Morrison (Haynes) Mid - Gaff, Sidey, Ross, Hunter (Tucker) Ruck - Gawn Fwd - Lynch, Betts, Smith, Fisher (Florent) IC - Tyson, Taylor (Turner)

Macquarie Island Round 7 Team Def: Tom Doedee, David Astbury, Sam Murray, Zach Tuohy, (Michael Johnson) Mid: Shaun Higgins, Josh P Kennedy, Ryan Griffen, David Armitage , (Nick Holman) Ruck: Nic Naitanui Fwd: Toby McLean, Josh Caddy, Kane Lambert, James Harmes (Jarman Impey) Int: Dayne Zorko, Will Hoskin-Elliott (Heath Grundy) In: Shaun Higgins, James Harmes, David Armitage Out: Taylor Walker (Injured), Lin Jong (not very good yet), Nick Holman (Unreliable) Some minor improvements in the midfield last week with Griffen & Kennedy doing much better (Zorko & Holman were disappointing though) but it was the previously solid defense who really let us down. Hopefully at some point we will find a little consistency & some of our injured players return. Also as bad as he has been early in the season it would also be great to at least have the option of selecting Aaron Hall
@Len - Zac Smith is a late out, while no doubt that's a good thing for the Giants do the Avengers have any cover for him ??

A dodgy pawn curry served to the Black Swamp players after Thursday night training has seen Shaun Grigg withdraw prior to Friday night lockout and the Bont and Ricky Henderson do likewise on Saturday. Lachie Fogarty was moved to Midfield Emergency prior to lockout (with Jesse Joyce replacing him as IC emergency) and makes his well earned 29ers debut but unfortunately he can't cover both Bont and Hendo so Black Swamp will be copping a donut for what I think is the first time in the club's history.
