The Cows are in a very strange situation - we are waiting for finalisation of the Sunday extended benches to relieve some selection headaches. After only being able to put 13 on the park in the early rounds, afl clubs are extracting the urine by introducing virtually all the fit Cows to their sides (Dawson Simpson an honourable exception). Bloody hell - we asked them to do it, but why all in one round? With DPP players we have seven (7) defenders to choose from. Eight (8) forwards available. Three (3) rucks. And I don't have enough fingers to count the mids, have to bloody take a shoe off. But the big problem as you can guess is quality. Not that we are complaining, some people playing for a contract with the Cows after the MSD.

First, toasts to the late Phil Walsh, and the ladies. Phil ..... the ladies. Thank you. Second, this week's side who one of the local wits (N Fyfe to be precise) has touchingly been described as "the Lambs." Rumour has it the team will baaa at the unbeaten chooks in an in joke alternative to a haka in an attempt to frighten, if not disperse, them. Bailey Williams makes his debut in a green substitute jersey (we all remember the green jerseys don't we?). [BTW, at $117,300 in SC with D/M status the young fella might be worth a glance as a downgrade should he perform up to expectations.] D - J McVeigh, J McGovern, H Taylor, J Howe* (R Harwood) M - D Hannebery, T Mitchell, M Robinson, B Crouch (B Williams*) R - S Jacobs^ F - T Campbell^, D Menzel, T McLean*, M Wood (C Sinclair^) I/E - A Hall, N Graham (B Griffiths) * Rising Star eligible ^ Ruck eligible in a public service effort to help Jimbo
My apologies Len. Of course the ^'s are not just for Jimbo. Please consider yourself included in the public service announcements.
Was lazy all afternoon then internet went down before I changed my side... Greene and Higgins still both sitting in the forward line, lesson learnt, make the changes as soon as you find out the changes, Poor coaching haha
I think you'll be fine, Fitzy. My lot are going terribly atm and, with Wells and Houli out, I'm not anticipating much of a score at all.
Damn! Schade a late inclusion for the Suns - that would have filled one the donuts down back. And of course he is having a ripper. Go Lambs!
Lefties 1044/11 vs Devils 955/11 Pendles keeping you in the hunt here @dmandrews With Priddis and Joey being consistently inconsistent, there's no way i'm getting jiggy with this score.
Yeah, I'm pretty happy with the Devils performance at 955/11 led by Pendlebury & Zorko, however the other member of the Devlis trio that ranked in the ORFFA top 15 for points per game after Round 7, David Zaharakis was well held by the Lefties midfield and only scored 44. @That KI Guy I think you are pretty safe with a lead of close to 100 and a couple of noted scorers in Priddis and Joey, even if this duo has been inconsistent in 2016. I don't have any big guns left to play and expect my remaining four players to combine for about 320 points which I don't think will be enough to seriously challenge you. Whilst the Devils have been good the Lefties have been a class above them with eight scores above 80 including five tons.
