    Sunderland v Chelsea 1-3

After a torrid time, Torres has found his scoring touch again. He scored another brace here after his midweek European double, he also grabbed an assist for Mata's goal. Hazard and Ramires with the other assists. Torres surprised us all by taking and scoring his team's penalty, his first in English football.

Azpilicueta dropped to the bench while Moses - who's put in some excellent performances - may well have climbed ahead of Oscar in the pecking order. Lampard made his return for the last 10mins.

Adam Johnson scored Sunderland's goal as Sess owners look on jealously. Reading at home approaches on Wed morning.

    Southampton v Reading 1-0

The other DGW'ers Reading were poor and well beaten here. It was two budget priced Saints who did the damage, Clyne assisting for Puncheon's goal.

Rodriguez got a rare start as Ramirez sat on the bench, although Ramirez came on at 40mins to replace the injured Lallana. Davis was in goals with Boruc on the bench. Saints now have a free week.

Tabb was probably Reading's best performer in a display that'll need to be bettered at Sunderland midweek. McAnuff, Robson-Kanu, Le Fondre and Roberts all failed to impress, although Robson-Kanu hit the post. Sean Morrison came off injured and this might bring Gorkss back into play.

    Arsenal v WBA 2-0

Three straight losses now for West Brom who lost Ridgewell to injury after 6mins. In truth, WBA were a bit toothless. Foster wasn't quite ready to return.

Arteta scored both Arsenal goals from the penalty spot. One of them after a Cazorla dive. Walcott missed with injury while Podolski was only fit enough for the bench.

    Everton v Spurs 2-1

An outstanding comeback from The Toffeemen with two injury time goals. Pienaar scored a majestic header against his old team while Jelavic ended his dry spell. Coleman and Vellios with the assists. I brought Fellaini back in this week so a dry spell may well ensue.

Bale was missing with injury while BAE was still out but is nearing a return. This will spell bad news for one of Gallas or Caulker or even Vertonghen. Dempsey scored to keep up his impressive recent form.

    West Ham v Liverpool 2-3

Liverpool perhaps surprisingly scored three without a recognised striker on the park, due to Suarez's one-match suspension. Johnson who's been threatening all season scored a screamer with Cole and Collins (OG) the other scorers. Enrique came off with a tight hamstring.

Nolan continues a dry spell that coincides with a tough run of fixtures and Andy Carroll's injury. Demel was replaced at HT with Dianm taken off after 70mins with injury. A Gerrard OG and a Noble penalty were West Ham's scorers.

    Villa v Stoke 0-0

Another clean sheet for Begovic & Co, indeed Villa are racking them up also. Etherington continues to get game time as Kightly warms the bench. Shotton will miss one after a soft red. Bent made his first Villa appearance since October, coming on for the last 25mins but barely touched the ball.

    Wigan v QPR 2-2

Three straight draws now for Redknapp's Rangers, but it's wins they need as they're in dire trouble. Nelson and sub Cisse (replaced Taarabt) got the goals with SWP again assisting.

McCarthy was the unlikely hero for Wigan scoring both goals, Beausejour again assisting. Maloney came on for the last 15mins while Wigan can expect some of their defence to return next week.

Man City v Man Utd 2-3

Rooney x2, and RVP were Utd's goalscorers in this real humdinger. Rafael showed his attacking potential with two assists and Young in a rare decent performance this year, got an assist. Lindegaard was missing to be at his child's birth while Evans came off injured. Valencia played but is still struggling to influence. Rooney is the real story and could this be the start of a red-hot scoring spree for him?

Balotelli was hooked for Tevez after a poor display while Tevez was excellent and brought City back into the game. Silva should've scored a couple while Aguero was quite subdued. Worryingly for City Kompany came off with a groin injury. Nastasic was restored to the starting line-up. Yaya and Zabaleta with the goals.

    Fulham v Newcastle 2-1

Despite an excellent performance, FPL'ers are leaving Berbatov in their droves. It's a 5th straight game with no attacking returns despite his obvious influence. Duff assisted both goals for Sidwell and Rodallega. Kacaniklic played 62mins.

Ben Arfa made his return from injury and scored. Cisse was wasted out wide for most of the game. Cabaye and Steven Taylor are still missing.

    Swansea v Norwich 3-4

Bassong scored his third goal in four games while Snodgrass was excellent again with a peachy free kick and two assists. Grant Holt also got on the scoresheet as did Whittaker. Mark Bunn (4.0mil) continues to desputise for Ruddy but wasn't brilliant.

Michu scored another brace to consolidate his position as top FPL scorer and top goal scorer in the EPL. De Guzman scored and assisted. Danny Graham started.
