<p style='margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;]Following a request to clarify the rules regarding lockouts and team entry, the FIXture Committee has arrived at the following: <p style='margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;] <p style='margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;]Partial lockouts will only be in effect for Thursday games, which means coaches are only required to submit the names of those players involved in the Thursday games by kick off on Thursday night. The remainder of your team needs to be submitted by kick off on Friday night. <p style='margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;] Outside of that scenario, final team entry will be required by no later than kick off on Friday nights. This includes players involved in any Monday games. <p style='margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;][span style='padding: 0cm; border: 1pt none windowtext; color: #434343; background-image: none; background-attachment: scroll; background-color: white; background-position: 0% 0%; background-repeat: repeat;] So if there is no Thursday game, then there is no partial lockout for that weekend's games and final team entry will be required by kick off on Friday night. <p style='margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;] <p style='margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;]This is in line with what occurred last year. <p style='margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;] <p style='margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;]Please see below for some additional information regarding ORFFA rounds 6 and 15. <p style='margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;] <p style='margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;]Regards The FIXture Committee
ORFFA Round 6 (AFL Round 6) The FIXture committee has decided that Round 6 will be locked out from kick off of the first game of the round, the Essendon v Collingwood game, which starts on Friday, April 25 at 2:40pm AEST. No changes to your line up will be permitted after this time. ORFFA Round 15 (AFL Round 18) Round 18 of the AFL is a split round played over two weekends. Any players you wish to select from the games to be played over the weekend of 18-20 July will need to be submitted by kick off on Friday 18 July or will not be considered as selected for this round. Players from the remaining games on the weekend 25-27 July will be required to be submitted by kick off on Friday 25 July.
JC can I suggest you flip the two rounds in the OP just so round 6 comes before 15 in the OP? Pedantic a little but easier to read.

So, just to confirm, for Round 5 we have a staggered lockout given the Thursday night game in Brisbane (what a headline game to start the round that is ....)

We, the FIXtures Committee got a bit ahead of ourselves and were thinking about the time when games will be played on Easter Friday. First bounce on Saturday is the final team entry point this Easter - AEST 1430 hours. TiB, could you note this please in the Round 5 Teams thread?
A very Christian response chels, thank you. All coaches take note. The seagulls go hungry this Friday.

OK - again we have an issue of a Thursday night game, and the need for us to submit full teams without knowing who is going to be playing in Sunday game. Is this a split lockout? If not, can we perhaps look at allowing a bit of latitude in selection cut offs - especially given we've just gone through a drafting process and have a number of new players to consider putting in our sides.

understood TiB - everyone should be aware that what shows in Match Day page will not be what you input into TSLeagues for the first week of the round. I have a bad feeling about the automated system and admin of this round. Perhaps everyone should log their initial selections in the round thread so we have a control document?

I took that as a given - but good idea chels to make sure everyone knows. I am assuming that the best idea is to list your full side in tsLeagues and that you can make changes to this prior to commencement of the second week. If you can't, you make the changes in the round thread prior to the second week lockout. Since Awful will be stuck with the same problem, am speculating walesy will be on top of it (if he has time).
