The Big Four

I just wanted to use this time to congratulate the Big Four clubs; the Jackrabbits, the Meerkats, the Disappointments and of course, the Savages, and their ability to raise enough corporate, or "other", support to be in the position to provide uniforms for their players.

Obviously in an 18 club competition, not all will be roaring successes off the field, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't celebrate when others get it right. I think in the long run, ORFFL premierships will end up being decided on who can spend the most off the field.

I was always going to do it later by I guess this week is now the worst to try and attempt to have some editing skills. I'll put that logo I made in here, people are free to use it if they think it should by our Independent (of Fat Singers) League Administration's logo?

  3. We had our Guernsey and released details of it in the ORFFL thread a couple of months back, but somehow our delivery must have been "waylaid" and ended up at Sarah Island where they just pasted their shoddy logo over the top and claimed it their own. After such despicable plagiarism we have decided instead to not have guernseys this year, and instead our players will wear whatever singlet they show up to the game in

Too right BB, my boys have been kitted out in their brand new Bonds navy blue shearers singlets - nothing but the best for the farmers :)

That sounds like a plan Hornsy, and also means we can get our guernseys ordered. There's not that many seamstresses in Queenstown. Navy blue with the Eureka emblazoned across the front, to pay tribute to our mining heritage.

I wonder with Hornsy doing the draw if the Savages will make the dreaded journey to the Quarry? Somehow I doubt it</blockquote>

Bloody thieving Savages, I shouldn't have given away so many details about the shipment

That said, If anyone wants a basic, retro-logo for their team I'm more than happy to try and put something together based on any parameters peoples give.

    An example:

    Specification needed:

    Nickname Colour
    Club Name Colour
    Name Background Colour
    Logo
    Logo Colour Background
    Outline Colour
Other - any other stipulations you have, eg more than one colour in the background, outline a different colour around the name etc.

P.S Jason, do you have a bigger version of your logo?

P_L and Jason inspired me to help. If you see yours and don't like it, I'll make alterations.

Down in deep West Gippsland, the pigs in Tarwin Lower look a little more like this though Hornsy:

Hey I didn't do that one! That's P_L all the way.

That is what I would have done though.

    Very tidy work BTW, P_L.

    Hey Hornsy, Port
Been having trouble with my net connection today due to the crap weather here today - had extremely strong winds & electrical storms from the remnants of the WA cyclone which slid south through the middle of WA - almost got blown off my feet when I went outside, which isn't an easy thing to do!!!

As for the tweets I just noticed, I reckon a few nice big question marks would be an apt logo for the Couldabeens seeing that nobody has ever caught one or even sighted one!!!

What about a pic of Greg Champion, crabs lover?

If not him then surely Guru Bob (you could substitute a picture of Mahatma Cote in his place)

Can do you a Greg Champion stencil, just need preferred colours?
