Matthew Pavlich is gone, not only does he bail on us with a late withdrawal last week but he looks gone for the season. Have you got that one last trade for the Grand Final? Or did you blow them all on the quest to make it? Have you got Valenti, Tippett and Gamble as your reserves and looking deep down the barrell of a donut in Grand Final week? Or are you lucky enough to have Hansen, Rioli or Hill?

Those with trades, read on for this Pav special.

Finally we have a player gone for the season that is worth a couple of quid. Well, Matty is actually the 2nd most expensive player. If youve got some dough, only the one trade and not Riewoldt. He must be the man, vs. Essendon and Harvs last H&A game. Saint Nick will go nuts. But besides him and Brown and Buddy (everyone already has them) here are my top five.

NUMBER 5.
Jarrad Waite
Whos he playing? Hawthorn.
Record agaisnt the Hawks? Playing them for the 1st time in 2008, but scored 107 agaisnt them in 2007 in a year he averaged 82.
Last five average? 116.2
Rate his recent form? Pulled out an 169 only three games ago vs. Port. And, has only fell below the ton once in his last five games.
Why pick him? In a real purple patch in a super season, plus alot ball in the back half vs. Hawks, if he plays back.
Why not? Fevolas quest for 100 goals, if forward.
Predicted score: If playing forward: 12, if down back: 138.

NUMBER 4.
Ryan OKeefe
Whos he playing? Brisbane.
Record agaisnt the Lions? 149 last time, but an average of 84 in the past four games after that.
Last five average? 80.6
Rate his recent form? Awful, only reached the ton twice in the past nine weeks, but that did include a 199.
Why pick him? Brisbane let big players run free, playing at the SCG, due for a big one.
Why not? Poor form, doesnt score as well with Hall in the team.
Predicted score: 108.

NUMBER 3.
Paul Chapman.
Whos he playing? West Coast.
Record agaisnt the Eagles? 163 last time, and a couple of 60s in 2006 and 2005.
Last five average? 93.2
Rate his recent form? Scored 67 in the first half vs. Hawthorn, missed 3 games before last week and after the long break scored 130 vs. North Melbourne.
Why pick him? Playing West Coast, playing at Skilled Stadium.
Why not? Might get rested again before finals, hammy might be still sore.
Predicted score: 118

NUMBER 2.
Matthew Richardson
Whos he playing? Melbourne.
Record agaisnt the Demons? 171 last time, avearge of 85 in the last two before that 171.
Last five average? 86.
Rate his recent form? Below average, he has had trouble with knees and is spending more time up forward has lowered his scores.
Why pick him? His last score agaisnt the Dees, and a chance to roam the whole gorund again.
Why not? Might get stuck up forward.
Predicted score: 136.

NUMBER 1.
Brendan Fevola.
Whos he playing? Hawthorn.
Record agaisnt the Hawks? Has an average of 99 in his last three agaisnt them.
Last five average? 86.8
Rate his recent form? Poor, even though his team mates are trying to give him the 100 goals.
Why pick him? He will kick 8 goals and 99% of the ball from the midfield will go to Fevola.
Why not? He will crack the shits because no one is kicking him the ball.
Predicted score: 184.

Dont touch the four highest scoring forwards from last week: Davis, Brennan, Cloke and Hahn. They were all flukes.

Players that missed out: Lloyd, BJ, Bradshaw, Deledio, Gia.
