<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]Week 3 TooSerious Fantasy NFL
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]Billy Bass (77) def Canuck Warriors (67)
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]Rather mediocre performances by both teams left this game hanging in the balance going into MNF - thankfully for Billy Bass, the Von Miller and Champ Bailey-less Broncos allowed a few too many points down the stretch to see Biily Bass post their first victory for the season
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]Billy Bass - A rather un-Rodgers (11pts) like performance left a lot on the shoulders of his receiving and running core, and despite AJ (10pts) showing flashes and Bradshaw (16pts) scoring nicely whilst sharing the load with the former Brown T-Rich, White (1pt), Sproles (4pts) (Breeze kept throwing to Graham), Whitten (6pts) (Murray kept running the ball) and Garcon (8pts) (RGIII still finding his mojo) just didn't come to the party. The Bills D going into the negatives against the Jets didn't help much either!
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]Canuck Warriors - Little to be happy about here, with Canuck going to 1 and 2 on the back of a pretty ordinary performance. Vick and RGIII were average (15 and 12 pts respectively) in the Skins and Eagles losses, and Foster (5pts), Ridley (3pts) and Fitz (6pts) looked decidedly below average, where that leaves Bowe (0 POINTS in a Chiefs win!) is anyone's guess, probably the pine next week for Canuck, who had Golden Tate (10pts) enjoy the Seahawks dominance over the Jags, but resting his legs for the Warriors. Old man Gates did his best to rally the troops, but a sloppy second half by the Bronco's D left the Warriors 10 points short in the end.
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]Jimbos Juggernaught (101) lost to Team Stowie (107)
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]In a close and high scoring match-up, Julius Thomas brought Team Stowie home for the win, and 2-1 for the year.
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]Jimbo's Juggernaut - Big scores by Jimbo's Big 4 - Romo (20pts), Luck (14pts), Charles (23 pts) and Shady McCoy (21pts) had the Juggernauts well placed throughout this battle, but a big crash back to earth by Bennett (1pt), Cruz (2pts) and Hopkins (6pts) left Jimbo vulnerable to a surging Team Stowie. To make matters worse, Antonio Brown got onto the end of anything Big Ben put up there (and that wasn't much tbh) to record a massive game winning 31 pts - game winning of course if Jimbo had Brown on the field, which he didn't, which meant it added nothing but heartache to the Juggernauts coaching staff and team morale.
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]Team Stowie - Scam Newton (28pts) and the Ravens D (22pts) steered Team Stowie home, and with little left on the bench, Team Stowie will be sheepishly leaving the ‘Nauts home base tonight pulling this one out late despite not being at their best. Outside of Newton and the Ravens D, Alex Smith (13pts) managed a reasonable score in the Chiefs strong win over the Eagles (less handing the ball off to Charles would have helped his team a great deal more!), and Freddy Jackson (10pts) continued his good form for the Bills, but elsewhere, the Dolphins pairing of Miller (6pts - he admittedly looked much better than the previous weeks and should see more action in the coming weeks, though this may be to Wallace's detriment) and the Squeaky Wheel (2pts) struggled, whilst Cobb (5pts) was shut down nicely by a strong Bengals D. Thomas (9pts) benefited from Peyton's pinpoint delivery to assure Team Stowie the win
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]Waito's Warriors (116) def So Long Mr Wallace (88)
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]The pre-season favourites continue to get the job done and are looking ridiculously hard to beat again this year.
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]Waito's Warriors - It was not enough for Waito to have 3 of the top 8 best RB's, the No. 1 and another top 5 WR - but they have now also acquired probably the 3rd best TE in the game - the recruiting staff at the Warriors need to be PAID! T-Rich (9pts) looks to have transitioned nicely to the Indy backfield and is likely to pick up more ball in the coming weeks, Freddy Morris (13pts) returned to form and Megatron did what Megatron does - run riot and score points, 17 to be exact. But this round marked the breakout of Cleveland TE Jordan Cameron who scored 24 pts, and the introduction of Brian Hoyer at the Browns (and for the Warriors - you make me sick Weightman!), who took over for the injured Weedon, scoring 18pts and a win over the Vikes, and a likely starting berth next week to boot. Just to rub salt into the wound, Santonio Holmes (21pts) showed flashes of yesteryear whilst benched, and alongside him was the Muscle Hamster - who would be a RB1 for almost every other team in this comp, but unable to get a game for the Warriors!!
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]So Long Mr Wallace - With only Wilson (21pts), Jimmy Graham (25pts) and the Browns D (12pts) in double figures, SLMW were never a threat. CJ2K (9pts) tried hard, but his QB thought more of his own legs to rack up a couple of scores to Johnson's detriment, whilst the Buffs Spiller was injured early and contributed nothing but a high carb snack to the post game commiserations. Marshall (5pts) couldn't capitalise on the Bears dominance over the Steelers, and Clay (4pts) was unable to reproduce his recent heroics for the Dolphins in his new fantasy team. But all is not lost for SLMW, with new recruit Snelling (16pts), Hartline (11pts), Shorts (14pts) and Manuel (19pts) all sitting on the bench but likely to force their way into the starting line-up next week to make them a much more daunting prospect than this week's match-up showed.
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]Canton Bulldogs (75) lost to Brady's Bunch (99)
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]The Bulldogs bubble burst at the hands of a very solid all round performance from the Bunch.
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]Canton Bulldogs - Another team who relied to heavily on too few and paid the ultimate price. Manning (24pts) was superb in MNF, whilst Forte (16pts) showed how much he is enjoying the Trestman game plan at Chicago. The Bengals defied the odds by going big against the vaunted Packers offence, but outside of that, the rest stunk! Flacco could only manage 6 points in a strong win for the Ravens over Houston, Skittles (6pts) was in full Beast mode early, until the Jags stacked the box and made Rusty Wilson throw TDs (which he did), whilst Nicks (0pts) and Jackson (3pts) suffered at the hands of their useless QB's. The pick up of Eifert the highlight though, adding nothing but an icing topped donut - a week to forget for Canton.
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]Brady's Bunch - A solid, if not unspectacular game for the Bunch, but a win they will no doubt take away from home. Roethlisberger kept hitting up Brown (when he wasn't getting smashed himself) and somehow managed 16 points for his efforts, whilst Rivers (11pts), MJD (11pts) and DeAngelo Williams (12pts) scored double figure totals to support rookie Thompkins (16pts) who finally came good on his pre-season potential and is a likely target for Brady whilst the Gronk and Amendola make their comebacks. Solid games by Nelson (9pts) in GB's loss to the Bengals, and the Patriots D (9pts) up against a rubbish Freeman helped also, and with Geno on the bench with 24 points, this game was less of a blowout than perhaps what it should have been.
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]Rigil Kentaurus (135) def Kings of Karlos (133)
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]In a truly memorable, high scoring match-up it was the boys from Rigil who managed to scrape home by 2 points.
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]Rigil Kentaurus - The toast of the town tonight will be Matt Prater, the Denver kicker delivering in a big way to see the Kentaurus stick with the KoK through a stunning game of MNF. Whilst Manning was hitting up his wideouts in Welker and Decker (co-incidentally KoK WR's also) for TD's, Prater (17pts) kept knocking the pigskin over the bar to keep pace with the Kings. Others to shine for Kentaurus included Stafford (21pts) and Cutler (11pts) who led the Lions to a win over the Skins and Steelers respectively, whilst DeMarco Murray again beat up on his bunny (Rams) to score 25 points, and The Inconvenient Truth (10pts) and Julio (11pts) reached double figure points to help the cause. To round out an impressive team performance, the Chicago D again proved itself to be one of the very best going around by treating the Steelers, and in particular, Big Ben, with disdain on the way to 20 points. With Ponders 21 points on the bench for Rigil Kentauraus, it provides decent backup at the QB position.
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]Kings of Karlos - Led by the strong arm of Drew Brees (31pts) and nimble feet of Jake Locker (27pts in a breakout game), the KoK could only watch and wonder as his WR's, Welker (14pts) and Decker (19pts), got the job done but also brought the Kentaurus kicker into play too often. The Bengals rookie RB (Gio) is proving to be an outstanding pick up (15pts), Stevie J (10pts) continued his good form for the Bills in their loss to the Jets, and Bryant (12pts) kicked superbly in Atlanta's loss to the Fins. Funnily enough, it could all have been so different if the returning Josh Gordon got a start, his 22 points in place of Johnsons 10 would have got the KoK's home (a half reasonable effort from the San Fran D might also have helped - with Smith out though, things might get worse before they get better). Still, a game for the ages and both coaches will be pleased with their squad's output currently.
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]Team Simonoz (77) lost to The Jug-O-Naughts (86)
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]The O-Naughts picked up win number 1 for 2013/2014 in a dour struggle on the road.
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]Team Simonoz - Not a lot to be cheerful about for Simonoz, Kaepernick (4pts) continued his rubbish form, Finley (0pts) got hammered and left the game with concussion, and D-Jax (6pts) couldn't continue his form against a resolute Chiefs D. Bradford (13pts) though did keep up his end of the bargain and continued his good form, Bell (18pts) filled in nicely for Reggie in Washington and McFadden (10pts) stayed injury free and even threw a TD pass?? Bryant and Jones both scored 9 points, but in teams that scored plus 30 totals, more was expected.
<p style='text-align: justify; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;]The Jug-O-Naughts - The big 3 of Brady (15pts), Matty Ice (15pts) and All-Day (14pts), along with the Seahawks D (12pts) was the difference between an ugly win and an even uglier loss. Starks (5pts) couldn't repeat the 100+yard performance of last week, whilst big-time wideouts Johnson (Andre variety) (3pts) and Colston (7pts) were well held. Pierce (12pts) did prove himself to be a very handy pick-up with Rice's withdrawal from the Ravens squad and will be an important contributor whilst Rice remains sidelined. Importantly for the O-Naughts, Sidney Rice, Denarius Moore and Bilal Powell heaped plenty of pressure onto the starters, scoring 19, 18 and 14 points respectively on the bench to show off the depth of this squad and an insight into the credentials of a likely Bowl contender.<a name='_GoBack][/url]
