They are a joke. If the AFL want to introduce this system then at least spend the $$$ and have goal line cameras at every ground. Don't rely on ch7/fox to install them.
For some reason I feel like I want to rant about the pathetic presentation channel 7 give the teams on Thursdays. Even though it's unrelated to the thread.
Still cant believe they reviewed Riewoldts goal last weekend when it went straight through the MIDDLE of the goals... Like seriously whats the point.
It is all part of the new reality tv footy concept whereby all shots at goal will go to the viewer to vote on. Only $.99 per text vote. Ca-Ching!
Thunda, that review was because the goal umpire lost sight of the ball in the lights and didn't see where it went through. Granted, the field umpire probably should have just said "It was straight over your head, it's a goal" but that was the reason behind it.
