It was fantastic to see so many new donors last week!!! A huge thank you goes out to everyone that has signed up recently!!
We had some interesting discussions last week, and our trade plans were thrown out of whack, by team selections, for the 3rd week in a row. But this time it wasnt a biggy, but it did cause us to trade out our 3rd option, Lower, instead of Matera, who was our 2nd preference to trade. And we all know how Lower played on the weekend! But Puopolo looks a better option than any of the forward line downgrades we were discussing, so its not all bad.
Our two trades last week were:
Lower --> Puopolo; and, Swallow --> Judd
We had our first tied vote in one of our polls! Usually, if we were tied near lockout, I have been able to drum up an extra vote from someone... but not this time. The tie was between Judd and Mundy for our upgrade, so I went with the cheaper option, which looks like it may pay off: Despite Judds minor injury, he outscored Mundy this week; and many around here are predicting Mundys numbers to go down during Sandis absence.
We didnt have such a fantastic week... A score of 2,333, which isnt too bad normally, but it wasnt enough to hold our overall ranking, as we slipped 524 places, out to 4,405th. And we only won one league game as well.
Over the break are our players individual scores for round 9::::
