I think we may have made a mistake this week, as it looks like between all of us we didn’t actually finalise the team prior to lockout. We managed a deplorable 913 points this week, from 11 scoring players, which placed us at 260,157 for the round (I’m not making that up), and bumped us out to 22,830 in the overall rankings. Meanwhile in our leagues we managed zero wins, so I won’t even bother reviewing those.

So, a quick look at our team gives us this disaster. The first thing you’ll probably notice is the amount of points out of our non-scoring players – big oops there!

I’m not really going to waste much time focusing on this, the numbers above tell the whole story. What I will say is this:
We had a total of 454 points on the bench that should have been on the field.
We left the captaincy with Pendlebury, and had Priddis as VC, while a Cox, or even a Selwood would have given us more points.
Luckily we had Giles as emergency ruckman, as Redden didn’t end up playing.

So, all in all a bit of a mess for the final bye round. Congrats to all of our opponents in all our leagues, you got some nice easy wins! Finally, on behalf of everyone involved in the donor team, sorry for messing it up so much for you all this week. We won’t be making this mistake again!
