A very good week for the donors this week, scoring a more-than-healthy 2412 points, ranking us 3436 for the round! This is our second highest score for the season, being bettered only by our round 8 2500+ performance. This score sees us climb 5339 places, to be ranked 14,784 for the season.

In our leagues we swept the lot, to now be placed 13th in Ucantbetooserious, 3rd in Ucantbe TS and TS Igotatheory, 7th in TS Pine warmers, and 9th in the WA league.

Join me over the break to see how we managed this score.<!--more-->

Due to injury and indiscretion we only had 21 scorers this week, with a donut in the forwards. Imagine what might have been if Franklin didnt do his hammy, or if Martin didnt join the long list of brain-fading tools! Anyway, the team looked something like this:

    Deledio DEF 139
    Broughton DEF 35
    Lake DEF 124
    Shaw DEF 135
    Carrazzo DEF 118
    Yarran DEF 81
    Shaw DEF 93
    Kennedy MID 110
    Mitchell MID 158
    Ablett Captain 2x133 MID 266
    Selwood MID 107
    Priddis MID 128
    Pendlebury MID 132
    Cox RUC 74
    Roughead RUC 113
    Sidebottom FWD 77
    Dangerfield FWD 110
    Riewoldt FWD 138
    Porplyzia FWD 128
    Goodes FWD 75
    Adams FWD 71

    Goddard DEF 0
    Darley (E) DEF 69
    Gibson (E) MID 58
    Sexton MID 0
    Campbell (E) RUC 0
    Pattison RUC 0
    Franklin FWD 0
    Martin FWD 0
    Milera FWD 0

Our defence was led by Deledio on 139, closely followed by Lake on 134. We then had Saw on 124 and Carrazzo on 118 rounding out our ton-toppers. Following this was the other Shaw on 93, Yarran on 81, and finally perennial disappointment Broughton on 35 points. On the pine was Darleys 69 emergency points, and the suspended Goddard, both of which should force Broughton off the field next week, on recent performances! So, 34 points lost there thanks to he hopeless docker!

Our midfield was led by Mitchell, dragging home a fantastic 158 points, followed by permacap Ablett on 133, or 266 when doubled. Next up was the return of permacap-in-waiting, Pendlebury, with 132, and then Priddis on 128. Kennedy was next on 110, while Selwood finished off our mids, on 107 points. The bench was a 58 point game from emergency Gibson, and the donut of injured Sexton. The only lost points here were the 25 on captain selection, but you cant really complain when Gazza gets 133 and the Gold Coast win with a Karmichael fairytale kick!

Unfortunately Cox came crashing a long way back down to earth this week, after his 200+ game last round, only managing 74 points this week. Our trades and reshuffle saw Roughead move into the rucks, and continue his great form with 113 points. Meanwhile the bench was a couple of donuts in Campbell and Pattison.

Up forward and our reshuffle cost us a donutl but it means were better set up for here on out. This week the forwards were led by Riewoldt on 138, followed by Porplyzia on 128. His teammate Dangerfield was next in line with 110, being our three ton-toppers for the round. This was followed by three blokes living in the seventies - Sidebottom on 77, new recruit Goodes on 75, and Adams on 71 to finish it all off. Our three donuts were Milera not playing, Franklin tugging his leg, and Martin asleep at the wheel. No points to be gained there this week, but at full strength its a great team on paper!

So for the round we lost out on 34 points due to that darn docker, and 25 on GAJ not being the top scorer, which is 59 points all up, but nothing really to be sneezed at.

Our trades las week were the injured Waters to Yarran, and Giles out with a ruck-forward reshuffle, to bring Goodes in. With both of our outed players not playing, those trades were instant wins!

Where to this week, and into the future? Youll have to head over to the donor forum to find out.
