Welcome all to anotherweek of donor team goodness. This last round we managed a score of 2165 points, which placed us at 52,151 for the round, and meant that we dropped a few places in the overall, to now be 15,735 for the season.

In our leagues we won three of five this week. Our wins came in Ucantbetooserious, where we’re now 11th, TS Pinewarmers, now 7th, and the TS WA league, now 8th. Our losses came in Ucantbe TS, where we’re now 4th, and TS Igotatheory, now third.

Our defence this week was topped by cheater Shaw, on 106, being the only man to break the ton down back. He was followed by Carrazzo’s 97 and Deledio’s 91, with Yarran on 86, Lake on 79, and a very disappointing Goddard on 57. We had an on-field zero in the waste-of-space “premium” Broughton, while both Shaw and Darley were donuts on the pine. Clearly no potential points missed here, just lots of disappointment.

In the mids we had Kennedy leading the way on 157, closely followed by captain Gazza on 150 points, doubled-up to a nice round 300. Pendelbury came in next, with 127 points, followed by Priddis on 110, and Mitchell on 106. Finally there was Selwood failing to break the ton, for 83 points. On the pine was our emergency Gibson on 72, and the injured Sexton on a donut. The only points missed here were the 7 points on the captain selection, but that’s neither here nor there.

Our rucks let us down a bit this week, with Roughead on 96 and Cox on a lowly 76 points meaning neither tonned up this week. On the pine was both the donuts of Campbell and Pattison. No points missed here again, just some lower than expected scores.

Onto the forward line, where we were lead by Dangerfield’s 138, with a big gap back to Sidebottom’s 109 and Porplyzia’s 105. We then had three of our forwards fail to make the ton, with Martin on 88, Riewoldt on 83, and a disappointment from Goodes on 71. We’re still clearly missing the big spearhead of Buddy in the goalsquare, with his donut combining with those of Adams and Milera, meaning we had thee of those up front this week, so no missed points, just missed opportunities.

No trades were made prior to Round 17, so I’ve got nothing to report there, just the hope that we get some more luck over the next couple of rounds, and can climb back up that overall leaderboard.
