These blokes don't muck around (and neither do I). From the home of Wayne Carey and the Daniher boys, welcome to the Wagga Wagga Wombats, under the guiding hand of Lenny #2. SnoZ will be so pleased as it is just down the Hume Highway. Almost a home game really. Happy at their new home, the boys are already in pre-season training doing a bit of kick to kick in the 'Bidgee. . <img src="http://tooserious.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/78az9-wagga-wagga.jpg" />
Thanks TiB, Stars such as Wayne Carey and the Daniher brothers have come through the Wombats development program, so it has plenty of experience which the youngsters can follow on from. We plan on being active during the trade period, so we can hit ORFFA hard when 2013 comes around. The boys are just doing light training at the moment, and we look to hit top gear by Janurary.
greetings Lenny, hope for your sake there are no salties in that part of the mighty 'Bidgee. Losing a few elite players to permanent injuries would be unfortunate.

Big news down at Wagga Wagga with the signing of Courtenay Dempsey. He has arrived and is already settling in well. The arrival of Dempsey came from the departure of Matt Rosa. We wish Matt all the best at his new club.

Injury update: 3/4/13 In a closed training session today at a local ground near Wagga Wagga, Dayne Beams had an ugly looking clash with fellow midfielder Kane Mitchell. Mitchell pulled up fine, but Beams was very ginger and will miss the next 1-2 weeks with a quad injury. This opens the door for Taylor Hunt who filled in for Beams on the weekend, providing a handy 97 points. In other news, Lindsay Thomas has escaped suspension after his off the ball incident with Ben Reid.
