All of our Fyfe and GAJ replacement and other trades will of course be thrown up into the air when teams are announced tomorrow! In particular, people will be watching the Blues who have stated they are likely to rest some "older" players against GWS.

I saw Juddy say on one of those Fox footy shows he is likely to sit out 1-2 games in addition to the bye. Scotland pretty much qualifies as "old", and there is talk of Kade Simpson breaking his streak.

Who do you think Carlton will sit down for this one?

Hopefully their whole team. I don't have any of them in SC or DT.
They'd probably still win the game with Brock McLean racking up 50 touches.

Kruezer, Scotland and Judd won't play. If I was a betting man, I'd add one of Simpson / Murphy / Gibbs depending on who is carrying niggles. Probably Murph if all things are equal and release Gibbs and Lucas to play a full game in the mids.

Lucas, is it impossible for Carlton to win with Broc McLean in the team.

Will give GWS a look at him and help them decide if they would like to save his career next year.

Reckon you're pretty close there corks. I think they'll give Warnock and Ellard a run and McLean and Bower will probably play. Could be SC drama if Kreuze, Judd, Murph, and Scotland all out.

McLean is the human witches hat TopHeavy.

Agree. I have no Carlton and my opponents this week do so it would be great news. I had my first loss in every league last round...including 3 losses in which I would have won if I had Giles on the field instead of Hale.

So I hope Ratts rests their entire midfield so I can get SOME luck going my way :)

As a carlton fan I'd say Scotland and Judd are just about certain to miss. The other maybe's would be Kruezer and Robinson of the fantasy relevant players.

I'd be surprised if Murphy misses as he is in his prime age, appears to have no niggles and on a sidebar he is favorite for the brownlow so as long as he's 100% I can't see him putting his hand up for a rest this early in the season. Not to mention would just smack of pure arrogance from Carlton to rest their top 2 midfielders at the same time.

I'm with corks & turbo on this 1, but time will tell.
Outs: Kreuzer, Judd, Murphy & Scotland
Ins: Warnock, McClean, Ellard & Bower

An ideal situation would be for Carlton to rest half their team & for the Giants to be peeved enough at the disrespect to snag a surprise win, incredibly unlikely I know, but here's to hoping :p

If this happens, WestCoast already did it, throws out all this looking at the future fixtures and saying "they have an easy run bc they have GWS, GC...." quite the opposite.

imo as a blues supporter im tipping judd scotto and kruez to miss...

Lucas will run on the ball all day and watch for walker to be given free rein in the guts... we all know that walker has wanted out of carlton for 2 years due to his lack of midfield opportunity, he had a ripper of a year as a forward last year but has it made no secrete to ratts and staff that he desperately wants to be standing beside the likes of Judd, Murphy and co...
Im tipping a score over 100 for skywalker jmo

Wasn't it part of the Crows trade that he wanted to be in the forward line?

Now he wants midfield.

What next, captain, coach, president.

Reports of Judd, maybe Waite.

Posted a link earlier in the Best Buys guide, but it's still waiting on a moderator. Basically the Age says that Carlton are going to rest Judd and possibly Waite. I'd post the link here, but it will probably have to wait for a mod as well.
