B – Sam Gilbert,Brett Thornton,Jared Rivers,Michael Johnson
C – Mark Murphy, Ryan Griffen, Travis Boak, Hamish Hartlett
R – Matthew Kreuzer
F – Jord Lewis,Adam Schneider,Dave Hale,Co-captain The Chad
I – Tom Scully, Stephen Hill
E – Nick Maxwell(co-captain),Sam Wright(VC),Rhys Palmer
Not expecting last pick to change starting squad. Side note is not anticipating captains or vice captains too last more than one season or even the trade period for that matter so may have gone a bit early on that call but at least it lives up to the wanderers tag.
Team Motto – No people, place or thing to call home – WE WANDER
Great drafting BB , the wanderer’s are trembling and our recruiting staff have chosen you as the craftiest, most strategic team builder and early favourite for the ORFFL premiership. If your team stays on the field it will be unstoppable. Let the games begin
Cheers though mate, I have serious doubts that we can stay on the park but we’ll certainly give it a shot. The battle for the eight should be massive methinks, almost all teams look ready for a real crack at it
No just love the team you have drafted, high scoring exciting players to watch who can score big which are my favourite fantasy players . Just not quite sure how you managed to get so many it must be the injury risk that some of them have looking forward to what Lucas’s risk profile has to say. Also can’t let Lucas and Johnson be the only coaches giving mutual love. Our Vic base of Warburton was an old timber milling town so we have a kinship with the miners and people look at us a bit strange because their was a strong Seventh Day Adventist community that started the town up. We notice that same strange look given to locals in Queenstown.
Pity we will rip each other to shreds when we play.
Generally that look is people wondering how a town that size can survive with only one shop but three pubs I think. Well since we’re going the love-in angle I must confess I have been admiring your midfield group for a while now, whilst I’m happy with mine I can’t help but think that the Wanderers will have a very solid base for a few years yet to come.
I’m still annoyed I couldn’t get Kruez
Out of respect to the chief i waited till the last round to draft this guy as i felt he should have been Captain of the disappointments. He’s disappointed me in supercoach last year, disappointed countless fans and i will probably only need him for 1-2 games this year and am sure he will disappoint via getting injured, subbed, dropped, rested or just plain spudding it up.
I’m not too bothered about mpp being available for both positions as emergencies but if i had to vote it would be that they are ok for all positions.
I would like to support Thokash’s proposal for 4 emergencies though as i think its more realistic as no teams play with one player short and believe everyone should be able to cover each position with out having to use MPP
We are also pleased to announce the 2012 leadership group. Kieran Jack will be the Captain for the Milikipati Snakes, and he will be supported by Matthew Pavlich, Michael Hurley and James Kelly, who make up the leadership group.
Yeah they love the fluff stories and the injury updates at this time of year. Everyone is either smashing PB’s or recovering from some sort of injury. Where’s the article on the bloke who matched last years time for the 5km time trial?
Bear, now that’s just stupid. A third shoulder would seriously mess with my double-breasted suits. Anyway I got rid of my other head years back, it was better looking and kept stealing the spotlight.
Pick 461 – Toby Greene

He also fit the drafting profile of Gumby and could have been useful to Johnson but probably would have disappointed him too much.

I guarantee my team could easily play with a player short if injuries strike.
But I’m all for 4 emergencies even though it takes out some of the skill of selecting them, because let’s face it so does MPP.

Just read on the Hun that Embley will be out for 6 weeks with a shoulder.
The starting midfield nominated earlier might need some adjsutment.

6 weeks means…well he should be right for the start of the season.
Mountain out of a molehill mate.
There are more journos at the Hun trying to make a story than players to get them about.
