rather than sort if that is too hard then maybe just enter the new picks as per normal, then insert lines at the top, cut and paste the new lines there (in reverse order) and then delete the blank lines giving the same result?? otherwise whatever works easiest for you mate as you don't want to much work involved for the next 450 odd picks
also I am reminding the coaches for Useless Loop, Mt Thirsty, Drouin and Dingo Beach that they have not as yet started a team blog, as latecomers you should know it isn't compulsory and needs only be very brief but might be handy for yourself and others if you do
Hey @MrsBear / Nicky - congrats on making 3 very astute picks so far IMO Is it possible for you to clarify the nickname of the Port Lincoln Football Club - your blog (and TS signature message) is showing the "Power" whereas your last 2 draft selection posts have mentioned Pirates, is it meant to be the latter?? If so I will update the team names blog as needed ??
Given we haven't yet autopicked anyone in the ORFFF I was wondering whether anyone had thoughts about modifying the autopick a little bit as follows - (1) to possibly exclude players with either LTI's or suspensions ruling them out for 12 months (as at the time of the autopick) - (2) to possibly introduce a minimum games played qualification so that players such as Tanner Smith and Jacob Townsend (both 1 game, scoring 81 and 80 respectively) who played less than 3 games or less are excluded The reason I ask this is the possibility that in the unlikely event that someone gets autopicked over a period of several rounds of the draft they may end up with several Essendon players suspended until 2017 greatly reducing their teams competitiveness in 2016 as compared to an autopick giving them an old bloke or otherwise they may end up with someone who scored a high average largely due to playing 1 or 2 games rather than someone averaging similar figures over 15 to 20 who is likely to achieve a similar output in 2016. Basically the question I am asking is are we trying to punish someone for autopicking, or is it meant to provide a mechanism where they pick up someone who is a little bit below the market value of the pick they did not show up for? Thoughts? .
You can blame @Bearfly for that, he said last night that I should have called the team the Pirates and for some reason it stuck in my head when I made my last 2 picks
I support those ideas. Added to this, i propose a lesser timelimit, maybe 18 hours or less. I think even 10 -12 hours would be sufficient.
Agreed with all the above, and support a shorter window per ant's suggestion, though 18 would be as short as I'd like. Also, if anyone wants to "PM" me their email or mobile I'm used to sending reminders etc for people who can't always focus the draft.
personally I think the pirates is an awesome name 18 picks today to 1115pm (ie picks 28 to 45) if we keep this rate up we will have the draft done and dusted by very early Feb, well ahead of the initial target date
I would really appreciate it if some of you could start making BAD decisions in the draft now please. Way too much savvy picking going on for my liking!
