Hey gang, after seeing a couple of rivalry round suggestions as well as a request from @TheTassieHawk for an away game in round 1, I think I will start up a thread for fixture suggestions. Currently we have the following rivalries proposed/locked in: @That KI Guy and his Neptune Island Noahs up against @Bearfly and his Wedge Island White Pointers in the "battle of the sharks"; @Len and his Cockburn Avengers against @insider and his Dingo Beach Butchers in the "revenge for taking my young players cup"; @TheTassieHawk and his Black Swamp 29ers against @choppers Chinchilla Chumps in the "6 stubbie drive derby" So further suggestions for rivalries and any fixture requests head on over to the new thread I will put up
Yeah wasn't really expecting him or Duggan to be here this late. Still a few 2nd and 3rd yr morsels to be had. day!
At this moment, TTH thought that perhaps it wasn't the best idea to put the football oval in the Black Swamp.
@port_leschenault - as you can see from the architects drawing "The Paddock" - as Black Swamp's home ground is affectionately known - is pristeen, albeit with a decent top to bottom rise/fall. Your picture above is actually the easiest to navigate section of the path from the visitors bus parking area (not shown in the architects picture) to the clubrooms near the "higher ground" goal end of the field. Planned ice-cold outdoor visitors showers would have assisted travelling sides in cleaning up for the game, however due to budget shortfalls caused by Trent Cotchins recent hairdressing bill they are now expected to be installed for the 2017 season.
Prior to The Chumps enduring their 6 stubby trip to The Black Swamp and after perusing the attached photo of the proposed playing field, would you please advise of the prevailing winds as this may seriously affect the decision to be made at the coin toss........
most of the time it's a cross-breeze - which is good because you wouldn't want it favouring one end of the ground
Do we have any idea what positions on the field will be assigned to the top up Essendon players......or do we go with the positions listed as per TS Stats page
Noooooooo........ Shattered! Was desperately hoping he would survive till my next pick! Feel free to talk trades with me later
Les will update the stats page when SC releases them, we will need to go with whatever that is I imagine, for now buying on spec..
Not that i know of. TS stats is probably a good indication for players that didnt play much last year... but then again maybe not. Who knows...
