Well, teams are back at training and a potential big injury today, should shake open the new site to start discussions. Petracca, 4 weeks off after breaking his toe playing basketball.
Damn. Was thinking of taking him in a draft in a day or two. Thankfully skip now until back end of draft.
WEST Coast recruit Jack Redden has suffered a setback in his recovery from an adductor injury, but coach Adam Simpson says the forward is still a chance to play in the NAB Challenge. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-01-06/new-setback-for-experienced-west-coast-recruit
TOM ROCKLIFF joined the Brisbane Lions rehab group on Wednesday, but said it was nothing to worry about. The Lions skipper niggled his hamstring on Monday and opted to spend more time signing autographs than running laps at a fan day organised by the club as part of its Sunshine Coast pre-season camp. "I'm better off resting it today and doing the main session on Friday," Rockliff said. It's part of a more conservative approach the Lions are taking this pre-season. Dayne Beams (knee), Darcy Gardiner (shoulder and ankle) and Josh Green (foot) were among those on lighter duties at Maroochydore on Wednesday, but all are expected to be fit and available for the NAB Challenge next month. Keep up to date with the Lions Training Camp Rockliff said there had been some noticeable changes in pre-season training with the appointment of Damien Austin – formerly from the Sydney Swans – to head the Lions' physical performance department. "I think if it was a month's time and still the same number (in rehab), it'd be a concern, but Damien's been all about getting ready for round one, not so much for the NAB Cup," Rockliff said. "In saying that, we'd like to see a few more numbers on the track. "It's a completely different program to what we've done in the past. We individualise weights programs a lot more now and running programs. "We think we're on the right track and we're getting ready for round one." Green was hobbled in a moon boot, and scans have since revealed a fracture in his right foot. Click Here for more details on Green's injury. Beams has a knee niggle but will be back with the main group in a fortnight, as will Gardiner, who has recovered strongly following off-season ankle and shoulder surgeries. Young defender Josh Watts (groin) and rookie Cian Hanley (adductor) are the only players expected to be unavailable for pre-season matches. http://www.lions.com.au/news/2016-01-13/nothing-to-worry-about
GEELONG captain Joel Selwood has all but ruled himself out of the club's NAB Challenge campaign but he remains hopeful of being fit for round one. Selwood has been on a restricted program since December due to plantar fasciitis in his right foot. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-01-25/resigned-cat-selwood-admits-hes-no-certainty-for-round-one

Just following our fearless leader's example. Copy/paste of the text into a search engine will quickly bring up the articles.
I'm sure there's some sort of IP law with quoting whole things, though obviously you're not trying to rip them off and claim as your own. I'd say it's standard etiquette too, to source an article you found. Shits me to tears when places footywire does it with half an article and you actually want to read the rest and have to find it the long way yourself. Makes their news section completely useless imo.
yeah, you're right- probably should be sourcing the articles. That said, as a blanket statement, they probably come from the AFL, Herald sun, or those delightful folk down at The Age. Each publication, a standout in their industry.

But more importantly makes Matthews and Giants look like complete dicks last year stonewalling his request to go home when clearly this wouldn't be something happening over night and a contributing factor to him wanting to leave.
