Figure I'll use the draft picks I've got so the Whalers are delisting 5 David Hale: Played well in the ruck but is now retired. Jackson Trengove: Did alright but hasn't really done enough. Sam Rowe: Don't see much more for him. Nick Suban: Lost DPP and not really good enough for an M6 Aaron Young: Project player, still too uncertain.
After much discussion the Board has decided to delist the following players:- Sam Durdin - played well in 2015 but shoulder reconstruction mid season, needs another season to mature. Jake Kelly - little game time last year, it is likely others will play before he does in 2016. George Horlin-Smith - average season in 2015, struggled to make the starting line up and 2016 looks the same unless there are a lot of injuries. We wish the players all the best for 20116 and thank them for the service to the club.
Bulls confirm the following delistments James Kelly - As previously advised and discussed Ryan Lester - As previously advised Brent Stanton - The Bulls are now a victim of the doping scandal - we hope that Stanton plays on in 2017 and that he may get the opportunity to finish his career with the Bulls. Stanton has played 38 games for the Bulls and is currently the clubhouse leader in terms of games played for the club. With comings and goings over the offseason the Bulls list stands at 25 there may be one more player cut prior to the delistment deadline.
After being able to trade some players of the list only one remains, he was demoted back to the rookie list and hasn't shown enough during the preseason to warrant a recall. His mid season recruitment helped Vikings stay competitive but after some positional changes and younger talent shinning through NATHAN KRAKOUER is delisted.
In addition to Josh McGuinness, Cow Bay will be departing with a former number one pick who never really lived up to his SC hype after his first year - Tom Scully By my count, that brings the Cow Bay playing squad down to 22 to take 4 picks into the draft.
King Island Football Club is one of integrity and strong values. Jake Melksham, with his dubious supplements, has not lived up to those values and as such his services are no longer required.
Its already been announced that the following two players have left Coolgardie: Ricky Petterd - Retired Josh Glenn - Delisted / Quit Also leaving the club will be: Matt Jones - Just not performing, and will be further on the outer in 2016 (even at the Dees!) Sam Frost - See above...
A late rush on delistments??? very quiet in here. Bulls regrettably release recent ACL victim Paul Ahern. Given his injury Paul will not return until 2017 and given the strong GWS midfield may need another 12 months (thats 2018) to break in to the side. We wish Paul all the best in his recovery and look forward to drafting him back in 1 -2 years time. The Bulls will now focus on the draft and brining in some new talent and will take two picks to the draft 14 & 28.
Delists for the Barracuda's are: Liam Jones - Had high expectations as a high flying forward which hasn't materialised Kyle Cheney - It's no joke he has an irregular heartbeat Ben Newton - With a crop of young players ahead of him he's been squeezed out even with his dpp status We wish the boys the best for their footy playing careers.
In addition to Gus Monfries, the Smugglers are just confirming that Hamish McIntosh and Andrew Boston are delisted due to retirement. This leaves the Smugglers with 4 picks in the PSD.
Serengeti wish to announce the delistment of the following players: Travis Varcoe - Despite solid returns over his career for the Buffaloes and every effort made to find him a new home, Travis has been let go to make room for younger talent that will take the club to ultimate glory Anthony Morabito - Was blowing the clubs injury budget and with plenty of teammates joining him on the injury list last season Anthony was the unlucky one to be let go. This leaves the Buffaloes with 24 players but may still change before the list cutoff on Feb 12.
Pakenham have decided to delist David McKay. A bits and pieces player that has served the club well. Tough list management has forced his departure, we say thanks and good bye!
