Actually, I was seriously in a rather heated argument with myself over who to pick, I'll know in 12 months or so if the smart guy won or lost

 

Solid pick, I had expected him (and some others) to go earlier once we hit the "delist zone" from Round 25 onwards.

 

I've had him on my list for a while too, but just not confident to pull the trigger, with him and Jobe the real risk is retirement, esp with his contract ending this year, but at pick 30 if it comes off I'll be very happy, if it doesn't than it's a free delist..

 

shouldve given me a hoy that Choppers was up Len - you confused me by being a proxy for someone else; which i realise makes no sense because you posted/picked twice... anyway, pick now done, carry on lads

 

No chance of getting him in this last round fellas, was always going to grab him with one of my final 2 picks

No it's ok it's my fault. Probably because I was still logged in to the page and the site took that as not needing a notification, something like that anyway. Just feel bit embarrassed to be twiddling my thumbs waiting when it was my turn in the hot seat.

 

I think you nailed it PL I was not getting notifications at times which I think was for the same reason

 

I dont think that makes a difference. Im fairly sure ive received notifications whilst having page open...

I take it you've all realised you only get a notification for the first post since the last time you viewed a page.

Most of the time, ive been opening the page after each notification just so that they keep coming for me each pick

 

So have I but this time I didn't, so don't really have an answer for it.

All good in end anyway.

 

These posts were both at about pick 335 I think.

The draft has now finished, after pick 480 and I ended up with 10 names still on my shortlist. It included about 3 that I realised later that i really wouldn't pick them, and it included about 3 that I am very surprised were not picked up - one of which I considered even as early as pick 386, and another I was close to picking at 418.
I also picked 3 players that weren't even on the original shortlist.

Anyway, good job all! It's been fun

Big ups to Len for keeping the draft spreadsheet updated all the way, and to those sending reminders and helping others' with picks along the way... and to everyone for generally keeping the thing moving, and for good spirits for the most part. Its been great.

I'm looking forward to having a look at each others lists and comparing, as I haven't yet.
Has anyone got the average age for each team? That will be interesting

 

Am actually working on a wrap up of the draft to put up on the blog which will include average ages
