Yeah leagues is much easier/simpler for me as I just copy straight into spreadsheets with formulas and the such (super time consuming to set up though). I have no coding ability to do otherwise, just good ol' excel and.

A trade centre would be very cool, although the breakevens showing for each player is a good indication, could you have a smaller cash prediction graph like a spark line from excel next to each player?

Might need to make it a donor thing- as I can see it getting pretty resource hungry if a bunch of people jump on. :D

Will definitely aim to have it happening though.

Yeah- At-a-glance type information might be the way to go to start with. Just need to come up with a good way to display the data so that it's more valuable than what's currently seen on the stats page. :D

Walesy in regards to a "trade centre" section what would be really powerful is something that lets you plan trades over multiple weeks - preferably through to Round 23, normally I start doing this around round 7 or 8 and update it weekly so something you can "save" and rollover which updates the weekly predicted "cash remaining" balance based on the previous rounds scoring would be the ultimate

if you do this sort of planning yourself then no doubt you would have some idea of what type of functionality it needs, otherwise I can send you a spready with some examples from 2015

I've always been meaning to, but have never gotten around to it, so if you feel like sharing, drop us an email.

I know my old man Has a spready that he plans his future trades on and he's always been successful. :)

Also, what is this ungodly hours that we are up at! Why does this even exist!

That would be pretty handy. It could be a 3 or 4 week rolling thing through the season where you pick one or two trade in targets, a player or two to trade out, and it compares their predicted cash into future rounds using your salary prediction graphs/number crunching. It could predict automatically or you could enter their scores as well. This is what I do when planning future trades.

2 or 3 or 4 weeks would kick butt - anything longer lets you put ALL of your rookies in order of who you are looking to trade out quickly and who you are going to keep until midseason when you are looking to complete your team

It sounds like Owen has a similar method to me to guessing how rookies will rise or fall but I just look at the next 3 predicted price rises, however rather than predicting scores directly I taking 75% of the first price rise and 50% of each of the next 2 price rises as I find it it is quicker to do this than plug all of the numbers in. If a rookie is predicted to lose cash I assume they will lose 100% of the amount predicted. Anything beyond 3 weeks is too uncertain so I pretty much take a stab in the dark knowing it will all change a week later anyway if one rookie scores 110 while another scores 40.

The other part is figuring out how much you will be paying for premiums in future weeks which takes some educated guesses based on current prices and breakevens and again this changes from week to week, normally increasing when my rookies hit their average rather than underperform by quite a bit as factored into my calculations.

Legend. I'll check it out when I get the chance.

(am currently in the hospital with #4. Poor little tacker is now sans tonsils and adnoids)

    So, probably not until tomorrow

if anyone would be so kind to check these d.o.b's for me (for young players picked up in the ORFFF draft which has just been completed) on footywire or some other place I would much appreciate it - be warned I expect a lot of mistakes due to much of the data being sourced and copied late at night and/or while multitasking

once confirmed or corrected I can start any updating and/or look up some of the remaining 1/1/1900 players

    Great job!

Just noticed a bug that had the calculator displaying 2014 AA Team and AA Ground averages.

    Embarrassing! :D

Also, DOB's are all updated. Thanks TTH

Walesy - is it possible to change the Age field to show to the nearest 0.1 of a year - the main reason I ask is that it seems to lump all 28 year olds together which means the 27.5 year olds (listed as 28) may be listed before the 28.4 year olds (also listed as 28) when the list is meant to be descending in age

ok- age is now populated back to 1-1-2016.

    It'll rollover with each week.

Chief, not a major issue but for some reason the alerts when you are looking at the stats pages are in a font that is about twice as big as when you look at them from any other page:

Yeah, originally they were way off the bottom of the screen! Getting them up to where they belong was a solid start- but I do need to revisit it. :D

Has anyone noticed this button on the myTeam page?

    upload_2016-3-10_9-23-43.png

It's a handy dandy new feature designed to allow you to plan out your future trading schedule

Still a bit of a work in progress, but I reckon there's enough functionality there to open it up and get some feedback.

Also, if everything goes to plan, there will be a report at the end of the year to compare your planned trades with your actual trades. :D

Can't get to create one mate, LHS is prepopulated and I can't see where to edit, I hit save and nothing happened, then tried the RHS and got a "you shouldn't be here" error
