OK, fresh from muttering that I was likely done with trading for the pre-season, I'll break my own vow for one last auction: Darraweit offer up Pick 20 in the PSD for auction. OK, for pick 20 I would require a midfielder or midfielder/forward that would befit pick 20. As a reference point from last year's ORFFA draft (http://tooserious.net/forum/threads/2015-orffa-pre-season-draft.7475/), between Picks 15 and 25 guys like Jack Crisp, Adam Saad, Lachie Weller, Touk Miller and Jarrod Picket were chosen (among mids or M/F-M/D types) I also have in mind players I'd take around Pick 20 ... but if you can offer me something better, then the pick is yours. If you are offering young talent, it would have to be on a par with these guys or better. If you are offering more mature talent it should be better. And if you are going to be creative with a mix of a pick and a player, feel free to go for it. And if you wish to ask after Cameron Wood as part of the trade, then I'll put to you that you've been indulging in too many strange substances. The auction will run until 6pm on Sunday, February 14.
Well we hope... made it to Giants emergency list last year a couple of times, yet to get a run... I'm hoping this year is the one
I wouldn't be surprised if we see a few of the young midfielders or mid-fwds at the Giants getting a run early. There's some talent pushing for spots there.
He' ll probably play 6 to 8 games and in short spells. His value lies further into the future unless someone like Smith or Kelly get injured, the mids are queued up 12 long so he is pushing for a mobile fwd role along with a couple of others. MCarthy's limp dick routine will create more opportunities for talls than smalls.
The reserve for Dylan Roberton was not met and the auction ended on Sunday night, and thus Roberton will remain a Wombat for the time being.
Honeychurch didnt even get picked up in the Orfff draft. One of the 3 or so that i was very surprised didnt get picked.
Yeah, I kept finding players I wanted/needed more down the bottom end of the draft, but the Misfits are lacking fwd depth..
I realise we go about 20 or so players deeper in the FA too. I would have expected Honeychurch to be in that range anyway

Chris, I'd like to offer this up for auction...... * Charlie Cameron FWD - 2014 = 7 games at 56, 2015 = 20 games at 57 Going into his 3rd season, Charlie has been training with the mids all preseason and after securing his role in the team last year, is set to split his time 50/50 FWD & MID this year. I've been reading a ton about him on the boards lately, all raves. Just had a minor knee clean up but will be back training in 2-3 weeks. Still only a FWD, but based on the Adelaide boards will be an F/M next year. He is 21 yrs old. I originally drafted him with the 2014 1st pick in the MSD In addition to this, I'll add the 1st pick in the 4th Rd (#55) and the pick I'll get for Honeychurch in the auction (currently 3rd Rd pick #50)
The Cows like Sunshine and are happy to offer pick 32 in the PSD and perhaps a late pick that you might not use in return. However, I may have to withdraw this offer if another offer involving pick 32 is accepted. Not sure if this breaches the spirit of auctions - if it does please advise.
