    Will be interesting to see how it's played by the clubs.

    Thinking that overall, teams will play their stars in the 1st and 3rd games, with the 3rd game more closely representing the actual gameplan.

      Think there's at least 2 games from the first week which we can take with quite a few grains of salt.

      The Freo-Richmond game and Adelaide-WCE game were almost training drills due to the disparity in quality of the sides in terms of senior players/reserves mix.

      That Richmond team was nigh on a reserves team, and as you say Walesy, that WCE team - wow.

      Not suprising though, first week of the nab, take the kids on the road.

      Got a bad feeling though, that that is what a lot of Bombers games will look like though...

      So, who plays the dons twice again? :)

      Also puts the doubt into picking bombers players if the total SC score is going to be 2000 to the winners and 1300 to the bombers - that ain't much to go around for the bomber boys. Might put me off selecting Bird

      Intra club means against playing against players in their own club right? If he performs in the NAB he'll be considered.

      Idea for article - Someone going for league win (and assuming that most bomber games are going to be absolute blow outs):

      - Research what positions score highly in blow out wins, do defenders score well without much to do?
      - Prioritise picking players from teams that play the bombers twice (Gold Coast, Geelong, Carlton, St. Kilda, and Richmond), but don't bother about Carlton or Gold Coast as they play the bombers in the first and last game of the season respectively. So Geelong, St Kilda, and Richmond.
      - Have a longer view on selecting players from teams that the bombers play during the SC finals: Crows, Cats, Gold Coast, and the Bulldogs

      Of course if the bombers are getting mauled every week then players might get rested, so it would be pointless.

      my read of the rules for 2016 is that leagues will start round 3 and the SC grand final will be in Round 23, ie as it used to be pre 2015
