This was covered a few pages back I think. 1. Select Pre Draft from the tabs along the left 2. Select Live Draft from the next set of tabs slightly further to the right You should get an onfield view of your squad. Sadly there is not ability to move players between lines, this seems to have been decided for us. I wanted Boyd to be a DEF but the stupid site put him as a MID. And as a bonus, there is a dropdown list at the top-right corner of the field view which lets to view the team of each other squad.
OK, so far so good. It is not obvious to me how do I go about editing my team (which looks quite good but not good enough). Thanks for being patient and helping Jason. It is obvious looking at the SC site that Walesy is a genius.
Editing your team (e.g. delisting players, which is all that can be done at the moment) is from a slightly different location. 1. Select Pre Draft from the tabs along the left 2. Select Pre Draft again from the next set of tabs slightly further to the right If you hit the big red minus sign, that player will be removed from your squad. Use with caution!
That takes me through to the screen I described above. Will try the good old log out of SC and re-enter and see what happens.
No change, I'll reboot my computer later and see if that helps. The screens I saw were slightly different from the previous visit so I do hold out some hope. Thanks again Jason.
Nope, same displays, cannot edit team. Pretty fed up with the inanity of SC Draft. Will likely leave it to you guys.
Whilst it's not exactly intuitive it does work, if you can post a screen shot of screen you are one when you can't see your team we might be able to assist
Sounds bloody frustrating graeme. here's what i see when i follow Jason's instructions. That said, i'm now getting stupid Socceroo banners popping up all over the screen that i can't remove (had to scrren shot this quickly before they loaded). Anyone else getting that?
Graeme, the screen that you want looks like this: Under "My Keeper Team" are those big red minus signs that I mentioned earlier. Those are the ones which will remove players from your squad. That's all that can be done to edit your team for now. There is no way (that I know) to move players around within the onfield (green) view of your team at this stage of the preseason. To recap how to get to this screen: 1. Click on the "Pre-Draft" tab in the left-most column (the one with three heads). 2. Click on the (different) "Pre-Draft" tab in the column next-right (with just the words Pre Draft). This should bring up a page which looks like the one above.
You need Adblock plus. Can thoroughly recommend it. Can be installed as an add-on to just about all browsers (Chrome, Firefox, even IE). Because I have Adblock plus active, I'm not getting whatever banner is located immediately below the countdown timer (compare your screenshot and mine and you'll see what I mean).
Appreciate that Len, I'll just have to go outside and get SC from the bottom of the swimming pool. I've always been fascinated by screen shots but never made one. A few hints for the kiwi Luddite will be needed please.
I use Snipping Tool to grab an image of what's on my screen. Save the file to your desktop and then use "Upload a file" from within the forum thread options.
Probably best not to start then tbh, go with Jason's walkthrough which is very thorough. The other thing to note is if you had added any players to the predraft list they push your team down out of view, but scrolling down on the page would reveal it. Have you logged in at anytime prior to this during this year and seen your team? A couple of people who had issues logging in initially had to be reconnected with their draft team.
ah, all solved, thank you. My pre-draft list is so long that the Keeper League details below did not show. cannot remember why I scrolled down but I did and there was GAJ, the little master said "where have you been?" And I explained about the swimming pool and you helpful guys. He then said ït's a pity that we are just going to roll over such nice people all season long. "That's great", I said. "How's your dad? pity your little brother did not work out at the suns." More later for those interested.
The default settings for Adblock are usually enough to keep the most in-your-face ads from never appearing on your screen. I use it a bit more pro-actively though, to hide certain webpage frames that I just don't want to keep seeing on my screen - such as the telstra bar along the top of the AFL website for instance. In fact there are heaps of rubbish frames all over the AFL website that I routinely never see. Highly customisable depending on your preferences/care factor/available time and makes browsing infinitely more enjoyable.
Looking for delists from; @YAD69 @TerryinBangkok @Tylo Graeme, Dean and JC to finalise theirs Still got 24 hours or so, just nudging
