Actually, I have an awareness that next potential trade is only a few picks away, and given we are all kind of "getting on with it" peeps, let's amend the 4 hours to "4 hours OR 6 non involved coaches approving with a dissenting vote".

On that basis the tabled trade has one vote so far, mine..
Apologies for the thinking on the fly, but tbh that's what this was always going to be..

I approve it too if thats what you want to know.

i remember we discussed this last year and someone suggested that during drafts we dont have a veto period, but instead have a 3 person committee who approve/reject in-draft trades instantly.

My memory may be sketchy, but it was along those lines. I reckon this approach would be good.

Yep, something to discuss for sure, maybe three from a larger group to account for online status etc, building in things that hold us up feel annoying if there is a valid alternative :)

Could not split the two, the need for a potentially 80+ mid is evident and Brendon provides that but Callum has a lot of talent and the Vultures lack a project player, although I really liked Menadue and Gresham, couldn't see myself getting someone with Callums potential in the 40s therefor was willing to make the trade!

Brendons form when Wines was injured last year was great and hoping he can clench a role in Ports best 22, the green vest being thrown away certaintly helps him as well. If he averages around 80 that would be a great result

For what it is worth, and I have apologised privately, but I'll apologise here too to JC.

JC and I gave spent two days nutting out a deal which would come into play about now. In fact, we had provisionally agreed barring some sort of unforeseen disaster and I had even decided on a player to pick.

Unfortunately I've had to turn around and step back from the offer due to Edwards doing his shoulder. Far from ideal on all fronts - I am shattered as Richmond supporter that this happens in a meaningless pre season game.

    So, JC, my apologies. :(

That is bad news and bad luck Chris - a little birdy told me he is your favourite Tiges player.

Better yet, Messers Townsend, Grigg, Conca are all injured too. Meaningless practice games which cause utter carnage after such a good preseason.

    Just shaking my head.

The human battering ram came off second best against Hammer Hartlett.
    Bloody unlucky Tiges.
