mate - all 4 of your matches to date are in the 10 closest matches in ORFFF history so your side loves a nailbiter

this week against Drouin will be a good indicator of whether your lot are top 4 material

    R8 & BnF Update
At 2 & 6 the season is close to the point of no return, with 4 losses on the trot on the surface it looks like the Fugitives have been very poor in their début season. However on the contrary the side has been in with a chance to win every one of its 6 losses however have not been able to get the job done. This is outlined by all Fugitive games and their winning margins 19, 47, 19, 82, 104, 44, 37, 99. Not a side to follow if you have heart problems we love a close one!

Any revival must start this week however I can sense Walpole are sniffing an upset... watch this space

In the BnF after a slow start marquee player Pendlebury has hit his straps opening up a slight gap on future stars Shiel & Lynch.

    R9 Leaderboard
    Pendlebury 26
    Shiel 21.5
    Lynch 20.5
    Wells 11.5
    Jack 11
    Gunston 9
    Macrae 6.5
    Johnson 4
    Edwards 3
    De Goey 3

The Fugitives have ended their season on a high but frustratingly just fell short of a finals berth finishing in 9th spot with a 7 and 8 record. On review losses against Heard Island, Mt Thirsty, Dingo Beach who occupied 13 - 15 on the ladder crippled the Fugitives season.

The Fugitives will look forward to 2017 with some confidence having been the 6th ranked team for points scored. Looking to the offseason a starting defender will be on the shopping list as we look to improve on a season that promised loads but delivered very little in the end.

The highlight came in Round 13 as the Fugitives ran riot against potential premiers Neptune Island scoring 1563 in a free flowing classic.

The focus for this coach now moves to AFL Fantasy where his Sideways Giants are ranked 13th overall just 250 points from the top step of the podium.

Good luck to all in the finals!
