Round 7 (AFL 7) … Snoz Wooden Spoon Round
As a real life hero and a three year running wooden spooner, if any coach deserves a round dedicated to him, it is our erstwhile US friend Snoz.

Seriously, has to be over-appreciated as it is, it's the man with the button :)

Good set of matchups this week, and here be the spot to moan or brag

As suggested by @chris88 in the blog thread, should we schedule in a time for a belated fellowship round?
Shame we missed it in round 6.

Is everyone up for it this weekend sometime?

    I might start a convo...

IN: Saad, Ibbo, Ceglar, Greenwood (I think)
OUT: Jonas, Gleeson, Maric, Lyons (dropped, god knows why)

DEF: Adams, Saad, Ibbo, Stratton (Jonas)
MID: Coniglio, Armitage, Newnes, Tyson (HIll)
    RUCK: Ceglar
FWD: Westhoff, Harvey, Walters, Shane Edwards (McGovern)
    I/C: Brown, Greenwood (Vickery)

Crows dropping Lyons is a farce. We're on the phone to them to express our displeasure. Defensive ins are handy, and Trengove getting closer to a senior return is even better.

But given who we are playing this week, probably ain't going to make a lot of difference!!

A mid-table battle between the Cows and my mate, the artist formerly known as Andy. The Cows left standing as a result of an arduous session in the Tiki Bar after the Pinot Cup game - aka having a quiet drink with TiBby:
    D - J McVeigh, J McGovern, D Howe*, H Taylor (E: R Harwood)
    M - D Hannebery, T Mitchell, B Crouch, M Robinson (E: A Neal-Bullen*)
    R - S Jacobs^
    F - D Menzel, T Campbell^, T McLean*, M Wood (E: C Sinclair^)
    E - A Hall, N Graham (E: B Griffiths)

    * - RS eligible
^ - listed by SC as a ruck - a new service specifically designed to help Jimbo in the MSD

In an old style union protest the Cow's have dried off early in sympathy with SnOz's long term mediocrity. Sadly, Andy's mob have not understood the underlying meaning of this round. Very unreliable guide after Saturday evening drinks in the maimai* - Nuffers 758/9, Dry Stock 1002/13

    * for the uninitiated, or those wondering how badly has chels lost it - http://www.teara.govt.nz/en/photograph/17123/scrub-maimai

No need to apologise, Jen. We are here to win games after all, so congrats on a well deserved win. Most of your better performers came from the younger brigade as well, which would be even more pleasing I imagine. :thumbsu: :)

The only thing I'm offended by is the performance of my team, lol. They were woeful. Sub-1100 fielding 15 starters, no OOP and no injuries that I'm aware of - you can't expect that to win you a game. And with four straight losses now, if we actually had some playing depth I'd be swinging the selection axe with enthusiasm! :)

This would be super handy! Otherwise I am likely to select another midfielder lets be honest.
