Reckon I'll be lucky to crack 2k this week!

Which bizarrely, doesn't look too far off par!

Though I do see a couple of big 2300's around the traps

    How'd you go?

      (a) Keep him (for now)
      (b) Yes
      (c) Stick fat

What is the most important part of your team to upgrade?

At the moment most SCers would be concentrating on upgrade/downgrade which normally means upgrading rookies to premos as part of the upgrade not moving on premiums to uber premiums - personally I would be leaving the luxury upgrades to when you have a full 22 premiums

With that said if Gawn scores a 49 this round ala Goldy a few weeks ago his price will plummet and it might change the answer if the "upgrade" costs you $50k rather than $130K.

Time for Mills to go I reckon. Will lose money next week.

I have both KK and Mills.
Mills is leaving this week and KK is staying.
      I'd stick with Blicavs too

I agree with RPritch in that Mills has to go.
Blicavs is not that far off the pace (he is out performing Mummy) and I think not worth the cost of a trade so I would keep him.

      Trading Dilemma.
Well, Round 7 score was 2167 & managed to climb up to just inside the top 14K.
My fast track trading plan this week was to do the following:

Mills & Lyons out for Selwood & Petracca in.

Now it looks like Adams won't be playing this week and I will end up with a :donut: as Adams, Laird & Suckling will be sharing the pine.

      So plan b is: Mills & Suckling/Adams out for Petracca & K Simpson/Rance
The problem is, I don't know who I should keep & bring in.
Current thought is Suckling out & Simpson to boost the coffers to $184K (then why not Docherty for an extra $45K the voice inside asks - arrrgh).
I feel any chance of a top 5k finish or better depends on this weeks decision - I just don't want to spend too much time stuffing around with the defence as that is not where the points are.
Will have 18 trades left after this week's trades.

      Any thoughts on:
      1. Go with plan A and eat a :donut: for a week.
      2. Plan B.1 - Suckling out & Simpson in,
      3. B.2 - Adams Out & Simpson in
      4. B.3 - Suckling Out & Rance in.
      5. B.4 - Adams out & Rance in
T/D Double down for Petracca & Keays & catch up later on.

I'd go with 2 or 4, I'm not sure which would be better out of Rance and Simpson, but I'll go with Rance through Richmond bias :D

No one else doubling down? Only Macpherson on the horizon. Got to take a valid downgrade while it's there? I'll probably double down this week and next week probably 1 down 1 dup is macpherson looks the goods. Otherwise double up.....

Disagree about your view of the horizon.

      This week:
      Petracca, Keays, Lovell, Blakely

      Next week:
      MacPherson, Brand, Redman

Yep, reckon a double down is on the cards this week. Need the cash to bring in premo-mids anyway, so it's a good week for it.

Surely Brand goes when Frawley comes back into the team?

He is 22, it's not like he is a raw teenager. Looked composed last week I thought.

No doubt, but there's still no room for him once Frawley comes back. :D

I don't believe the Hawthorn guys Lovell and Brand are going to get sustained runs in the team.

Haven't seen Redman, scoring 1st round scoring doesn't seem great. interesting DPP, good tackle count? Anyone have any other background.

Blakely looks ok, big bodied. Didn't seem blessed for pace? But maybe it's just the initial step up. In the games i've seen however scoring has been limited but worth a thought if Ross has decided to play the kids and not mess with us for once. Avg 24 disposals in the WAFL last year?

Brand and O'Brien have that Roughie/Schoenmakers spot.

I'd still not call Brand a must have the same as Petracca/Keays. Downgrade options are definitely more limited going forward now. Take them when you can.
