Man oh man, looks like those outs are taking their toll!

Seeing a bunch of puss scores all over the place!

Bound to be some big scores though if you dodged the bullets and hit those unique(ish) guys that hit though!

Shocking day to day - Gawn, Petracca, Byrne, DBJ and Kerridge turning a possible 2300 into a 2089... lots of ordinary scores out there. Hopefully I don't drop too much.

I managed a 2150 flat, so not the best score going around but should be good enough for a decent jump in the rankings with any luck.

I am totally stupid. I went the Captains loophole and took Danger's score as vice but then didn't put the emergency on Goldy so took a zero in the ruck - bugger, bugger bugger. Ended up with 1934 instead of 2039 - my worst score for the season and would have also been even if I had Goldy as sub.
My back six really needs some work.

Always gotta triple check the emergencies!

Then refresh and check again, just in casies!

      2050 seems about par !!

Speaking of par finished with 2052. Had Houli, Barlow, Wells, Rockliff and Adams on the bench so hopefully at least a couple of those come back next week as it was a stretch this week. Trade of Mills to Pendlebury was a big winner, always knew mitch brown would return that sort of awful score the one week i was forced to put him on the field probably not alone there though. Parker looking like he will be much cheaper in a few weeks for those like me that dont have him.

1930 or thereabouts, looks like the 4th week in a row my team will fall in the rankings after a decent start

Given most of my rookies stunk it up it will be a hard decision which two to punt this week, unfortunately most of my upgrade targets scored well so it might be tough to balance the books without cashing in one of my higher average rookies

2096 had to field DBJ M Brown and Papley who would all normally be on the pine :(
Luckily a few other players had huge games to pick up some of the slack

2060, agree with others seems about par. Brought in Gibson and happy with how that played out. Makes for a nicer R15 bye structure.

Horrible week. My score was like

Limped over 2000. Hopefully upgrading next week and all those outs come back in (please!).

1802 so will be in freefall from peaking at 240 two weeks ago, stuffed up emergencies so had to leave C on Gawn instead of Danger, Selwood, Parker, Zahar, DBJ,Brown. Only Shaw, Libba and Martin held the line , Cox also who was on pine. Hopefully a return to form next week with return of some talent and trading

Down 15 spots to 31. Lost nearly 150 on the leader though. Big week this coming on.

I am praying the SC gods will put me out of my misery soon...

Do have to laugh though, I am sitting in 17th place in one of my TS leagues yet also sitting in 2nd place in a non TS league.... A pretty big spread for a team sitting around 29k!

What to do with Wingard? Even rookies are outscoring him.

Finished with 2197 and moved up almost 11k in the rankings.
Had Laird, Josh Kennedy, Wells, and Adams on the pine, necessitating having 4 x Essendon rookies on the field in my defence. Was seriously worried about that, particularly midway through the Bombers-Kangas game. Luckily only Brown really disappointed in the end... although he did make good coin this week. Have been trying to be disciplined in not slaughtering the Bombers cows too early - though suspect a couple could be off to the abattoir this week - remarkably all now priced in a tight group at around $300k+
Brought in Doherty and Petracca this week - and was very happy with both. Thanks also Shiel, Libba, Zorko, Shaw, Danger (C), and Nic Nat!

      Hold.

It's the default answer for all underperforming premiums *coughBarlowcough*.

It totally sucks but the most important thing at this stage of the game is your cash generation and upgrading/downgrading. The time to get rid of prems - or guys you started with thinking they were going to be prems - is perhaps after Rd or 2 when you realise you made a massive blunder. Otherwise it's hold at least until your team is upgraded and you have plenty of trades to sideways him.

As it is with Wingard, you know his potential to score big as he's an AA-calibre forward on shit form in a mess of team that can't get things right from week to week. Eventually he's going to knock a 120-130 score and you'll feel even worse if he does that the week after you traded him out.

So is Barlow still in your team?
    19. port_leschenault

Yes. He's a 90ppg forward. He's a classic case of knee-jerk trading. Those that traded him out after his first two 60's didn't get his 99, 81, 128 and 134. Not sure what the most common trade to was, but if it was someone like Lambert (130, 101 in opening rounds) that's a classic case of chasing points.

If he stays out of the side thanks to Lyon then the approach to the question of whether to trade him out is no different as whether to trade an injured premium out. Even then your trade plan should take precedence if there's key targets to get that week.
