Getting awful close to the byes, and awful close to full teams!

Don't forget that when looking to close out your squads over the next two weeks- if you're looking to bring in a round 11 guy, it might pay to hold off if it means not missing a donut in round 11.

But we're here to talk teams.

I won't factor Lee into considerations until he is named. Not sure why but from reports the Saints seem to go with a tall forward line and smallish backline most times so even if he plays vs Crows he may not other weeks. Williams is only one bad game away from being dropped at the dogs.

Tucker is young and the Dockers say they will be playing young players a lot more and they cannot make the finals. Collins has better JS but without anything other than a hunch to back it up I would think Tucker might average more (if he plays).

      What's your thoughts on Lycett?

Same average, same profile, $50k cheaper. :D

Feels like, at some stage this season, with Goldie and Gawn, that one of them will miss a game. And unless they have Cox, nobody up the top end has any coverage for that.

I think I will keep ugrading the forwards and swinging f/ms into the forward line and keep Milera or Menadue until someone half decent appears for a downgrade.

Tucker this week, hopefully one of Marsh or Collins next week.

Goodyear, Dunkley and Howard made the final 22.

Macaffer, Williams, Cole, Lee are emergencies.

@Jason - is Dunkley worth considering now that Mathieson has been dropped ??

@Bearfly - is howard worth picking up given how thin the forward line stocks are looking ??

He was exhausted after 2 games across the first two rounds, not sure that I expect him to last more than a couple of games in a row this time around either. Jong is suspended, Dunkley would have to keep performing well to hold his spot when the suspension is up.

Goldstein confirmed out. No Cox so going to have to trade him to one of Nic Nat or Gawn as I don't have either

I think I will cop the donut and cross everything it's a 1 weeker and at most I lose 100 points.

I expect a lot will trade him out and a lot will trade in R/Fs to cover as needed. Will be interesting how it shapes things at the pointy end.

Finally, get some advantage against the Goldie-owned teams. Can they come back from the clouds now? :D

I would have held him normally but I'm still in the top 1000 with plenty of trades and I don't want any donuts.

Good solid young player TTH, competes well, good below the knees for a big fella, and looks to be gaining more confidence with every game.
If he can keep stringing together the 60's with perhaps an odd 70 here and there you'd be happy - will be interesting to see if he can hold his spot when Sarge returns after the bye though

Went with Gawn figured he'd be a good vc option most weeks

There was actually a point mid-week when I considered upgrading him to Hannebery. Happy to say I didn't go through with it!

One for the thumbs, what do you guys think yes or no?

Papley > Tucker (AMT to FWD opening up link with Adams)
      Libba > Hannebery

Feels strange upgrading Libba when I'm fielding Hopper and Smith, but I need most of my rookies to increase in value more before trading and the others I want to keep until at least the byes (Kerridge, AMT, Dea).
